    When you step through the doors of this adults only resort, you'll instantly know you've reached paradise. Soak up the splendour of your surroundings with typical Mauritian architecture, decor inspired by the sea, and a roundabout bar with 360º views of the pool and glistening ocean beyond. The resort is located in front of one of the largest lagoons of Mauritius, Anse la Raie lagoon, and you can spend your days trying out the complimentary water sports, including glass bottom boat rides, or sail out on the resorts catamaran with daily full day excursions (at extra costs). There's also a luxurious spa (not forgetting the 3 swimming pools too) for those relaxing days. Either way, we guarantee you won't want to leave.

    Where is it

    In the North of Mauritius, on the shores of one of the largest lagoons in Mauritius, Anse la Raie lagoon. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: 1 hour 30 minutes.

    Hotel information

    182 rooms. All with private terrace or balcony, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, WiFi, hairdryer, and safe. Couple Rooms are 375 sq ft and are located amongst the gardens, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.  All Inclusive of: breakfast in the main restaurant, Bénitier. Lunch at Bénitier, Taba-J and Coral. Dinner is on a dine-around basis and is applicable in 5 restaurants. A selection of local beverages including water, beer, tea/coffee, soft drinks, table wine, local alcohols and spirits. A selection of local drinks from the mini-bar. A selection of tea/coffee and snacks at the Bulk Shop. Afternoon tea from 3.30pm-6.00pm (self-service, pastries at the Coral bar and local goodies near the main pool). Local snacks served with evening drinks.
    Couple Poolside Rooms are 375 sq ft and ovelookng the gardens and one of the pools, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

    Couple Seafront Rooms a 375 sq ft and have views of the ocean, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

    Suites are 485 sq ft and have a private outside bathtub and terrace, with 1 double-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

    5 restaurants; Le Bénitier (local and international food, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Coral (à la carte fish and seafood, dinner), Lemongrass (Asian cuisine, dinner), Kot Nou (Mauritian dishes, dinner), Taba-J (Mauritian street food concept, lunch). 5 bars including a juice bar and tea bar. 

    Live music 5 times a week. DJ parties twice a week including one beach party and one pool party (weather permitting).

    3 swimming pools. Spa POZ*. Fitness centre. Non-motorised water sports including kayaks, glass bottom boat, pedal boat, snorkelling, lazer boat and stand-up paddle boards. 2 paddle courts and 1 tennis court. Yoga. Otentik Experiences (a meal with a family in a local home, a Mauritian cooking lesson and a stop at the Otentik Bazar). Eco-workshops. New yoga activity on the hotels catamaran including meditation exercises and sunset drinks* (once a week, reservation required).

    We have had the most superb holiday here. We cannot fault any element. In particular the Coral Restaurant serves the most delicious food with outstanding service. The Team of Usha, Nathon, Aeshay, Deepandu and Yuvrag were just the best in every way.

THE ROOM: We had a stunning seafront room – clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with sustainable bamboo and wood elements that felt very in tune with the island. Housekeeping was exceptional – friendly, thorough, and always accommodating. THE STAFF: The heart of this hotel is its incredible team. Every single staff member was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to Ganesha, Bradley, and Ratee for going above and beyond to make us feel looked after. From remembering our favourite drinks to always offering a smile or helpful tip – they made the experience unforgettable. THE FOOD: The food exceeded all expectations. Unlike many all-inclusives, we never got bored of the options. The buffet was varied and high quality, and all the restaurants were excellent. Grilled meats, fresh fruits, and an impressive bread selection (shoutout to the baker!). Tip: Book restaurant reservations on your first day – they fill up quickly! ACTIVITIES: There’s something for everyone – from pétanque to archery to snorkelling. Keshwar, the sole entertainment coordinator, was a powerhouse. His energy and dedication brought guests together and made activities feel extra special. Also, don’t miss the Marine Biology Centre – Yash was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the local marine life. OVERALL: Halfway through our stay we read a few negative reviews and honestly couldn’t relate. We had an amazing experience and are already planning a return trip with family. The stuff were really friendly and lovely.The food choices especially lunch and dinner were not really for 4 stars hotel,more like 3 stars. You have some selection of restaurants which you need to book in advance and the best one was lemongrass absolutely wonderful selection of Japanese dishes. The shocking bit from the food corner was that there is no Ice cream during the day,only in the evening, which is strange for such a hot holiday destination.     This adults only resort is beautiful with a fantastic lagoon and plenty of sun loungers both around the lagoon and pool area. Split into 3 sections, lively, local and laid-back affords guests to choose their ideal spot to spend sunny days. Even the lively area situated by the pool is a pretty chilled out place to be. Seabreeze bar, by the pool offers an array of cocktails from the menu and Ganesha's cheeky charm is delightful. The only downside was running out of pheonix beer frequently and the local vodka and rum tastes very thin. Benitier buffet caters for all tastes including vegan and vegetarian. The food is delicious with a good choice daily, especially the breads and pastries . The staff are friendly and helpful and Reena is the matriarch of Benitier, keeping an eye on the younger team members. She was mentor to Shailish, a lovely young college trainee from India, taking him under her wing building his new found confidence as a waiter. Reena is a sheer delight, ensuring all guests are enjoying the food and having a great time in Mauritius. She is truly an asset to Lagoon Attitude. The other restaurants, Coral serves fantastic fish and seafood, Kot Nou has delicious Mauritian fair with the banana curry a must try and Lemongrass tickles the taste buds with Asian fusion from Japan, Indonesia and Thailand. We stayed in room 407 with lovely garden view. The room is traditional with wooden and rattan furniture, very clean with a very comfortable bed. However, some areas could do with being re-painted as well as the room doors along the corridors, which look very tired. Mauritius has day mosquitos, so repellent is essential if you are prone to bites. The hotel also has stray dogs living within the grounds and it is lovely to watch them going about their daily business, lying on the beach sunning themselves while ignoring their human guests. Lagoon Attitude is a little gem with friendly staff which makes for a truly relaxing place to unwind. Would definitely visit again. Read less

    We went for my wife’s 40th birthday. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Krishna, Nitish, Jerome and Chef Spencer made us feel special with a beautifully decorated table and brilliant service. All finished off with a delicious birthday cake and rendition of happy birthday. Thankyou all so much.
