Kids had fun, but it was so so so busy. Line ups for slides meant kids over two days only had approx 6 rides each. They close the “slower” slide (the only one my kids would ride) at 6pm and leave the fast one open. All the additional experiences were all booked out so didn’t get to experience any of those. Everything was crazy experience. The room… Read more

Everything was crazy experience. The room was nice, however our bed was broken - it sunk in the middle and very uncomfortable. This hotel was a complete disappointment for the price. I would t stay again - I’d book another resort with a nice pool for the kids. Read less

We loved our stay here. The resort was clean and family friendly. The kids loved the water park and it was the highlight of their trip. If you are going to pay for an activity, I would recommend the make your own ears. My son and daughter enjoyed it and continue to wear them. The food on property was all very good. If you are going to pay for an activity, I would recommend the make your own ears. My son and daughter enjoyed it and continue to wear them. The food on property was all very good. The staff was friendly and if I looked like I had a question they jumped in to help and answer. They all seemed genuinely happy to be working there. My only suggestion is booking early and making reservations for kids club and activities early. We didn't know and missed out on kids club as well as some of the other activities because they were booked. Read less

We enjoyed and loved this place. Good for all families, I have a family of 4 older aged kids and we enjoyed our stay. Everyday we ended the night at the beach or pools. The hotel is very good except for the one rude lady at the Mickey Shaved Ice. She was rude with everyone waiting for their Mickey ice. Read less

I’m a DVC member and stayed in this hotel 2x. The first visit was 7 years ago, we stayed in 1BR villa for a week and 3BR villa for another week total of 2weeks. The resort was so magical at that time, plenty of activities to do, food was amazing in all dining restaurants. The 2nd time we visited was last month I didn’t find it as magical as it was, they took off the adults only pool and left the bi level infinity hot tub for adults only. Everywhere else are children’s water park, so if you want that serenity, relaxing pool for adults only it’s gone! The food is mediocre for the amount you paying it’s not worth it. Makihiki buffet is gone, honestly you are just paying for the character experience and not the food. Ama Ama for 175$ really is not worth it as well anymore. Ulu Cafe and Off the Hook is still a very nice experience for us. Olelo lounge/bar how I wish they bring back how it was before where you sit comfortably in a nice chairs listening to the band and strictly adults only bar. It was so cozy and if you feel like dancing with your partner you can do so coz the floor is wide open. Now it’s not the same anymore, table everywhere in front of you family with young children of all ages in strollers some of them tired and grumpy at 9pm blocking your view of the band. While you sip on your cocktail and what’s supposed to be a romantic lounge/bar where you drink peacefully is now taken by families having dinner with small kids. I wish they will bring the old Olelo back. Everything else check in/out was very fast and efficient CM were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Bell service, Valet parking are great! DVC MS are all fantastic, rooms were nice and clean we stayed again in 1BR villa the magic are still there. Will we come back? We might, if they will bring back the buffet again, the adults only pool and the Olelo strictly for adults only. Read less

Amazing! You’re paying for the resort, so don’t expect any more than a three star room. Arrive expecting a few queues and some very high prices and you’ll have a great time. Don’t worry about it being “too Disney”, it’s not. Two or three days would probably be enough, four or five even better.
