We went to Couples Tower Isle for our 19th wedding anniversary and our experience didn't disappoint. Staff & Service: Even though Hurricane Beryl swept through during our stay - the staff did not miss a beat. The service remained excellent and professional. Food: Was outstanding. High quality, flavourful and presented beautifully. Dining: Several restaurants to choose from - Be sure to make a reservation at the 8 Rivers and Bayshore for unforgettable dining experiences. The Patio/Buffet style restaurant was like no other. Always something different to choose from. Room: Clean, comfortable and well-serviced with a well-stocked mini-bar. Entertainment: Very impressive singers and performers. The highlight was the steel-drum performance. WOW. Beach: Small but beautiful. Wifi: Did not fail even through the hurricane. Excursions: Unable to comment as these were cancelled due to the hurricane. Read less

We found this resort by accident and I am really pleased we did. We booked via TUI in the UK and opted to upgrade our room to a premium sea view. Montego Bay airport was a breeze to transit, just make sure you have filled in your C5. It took 20 minutes from landing to collecting luggage and exiting customs. Once through its a quick left turn and 30 metres to the Couples lounge where you will be greeted with a smile, your luggage taken from you and drinking your first Red Stripe of the trip (or anything else you wanted) The WIFI in the lounge was fast and easy to connect. In 5 minutes we were off to our waiting mini bus bypassing all the queues for coaches and on our way to the hotel. Its about a 1 hour 45 minute trip to the hotel and our driver gave us a running commentary of lanmarks and history of Jamaica on the way. On arriving into the hotel the first things that strikes you is the stunning view across the bay, the sun was just going down and it was a magical first impression. Check in was swift with a nice cool towel and your choice of drink (Rum Punch is great) and then we were escorted up to our room on the third floor of building 3. The building is late 40s in construction and every effort has been made to keep it as original as possible. When leaving the lift you once again get a fantastic view of the bay from the large panoramic windows in the floor lobby. Our room was classicaly understated, clean, cool and with a large walk in wardrobe complete with robes and slippers. we had pre ordered our mini bar and discovered it fully stocked with white and red wine, a bottle of rum and all types of beers and mixers. you can order what you wish on a room card and simply leave it on your door so the your mini bar will be to your liking. The bed was huge and comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Our balcony was huge with a two person swing and a table and 2 chairs. The view once again was simply stunning. There is a coffee maker in the room and we made full use of it although you can order coffee and breakfast to your room. The rooms are seviced twice a day with an evening turndown and your ice bucket is filled every time You will also find 2 refillable water bottles that you fill at the end of the corridor and another glass bottle that is filled by room service. There are 4 restaurants in the resort, Patio is the main buffet resaurant but is only buffet in name only most of the time. For Lunch and dinner you have a buffet starter and dessert but you order from a menu for your main meal. The buffet is minimal but the quality is good. the stand out every meal is the soup, I never had any that I would not describe as excellent. also the dessert choice is also great with a hot choice as well as various cheesecakes and ice cream. The entrees normally had a choice of 4 or 5 mains including a vegatarian and fish (its always snapper!!) dish and all very good. Veranda is a small ala carte again with a limited menu but everything is excellent. Out in the bay you have Bayside, a asian fusion ala carte located out in the bay. The food is first class and the menu changes a couple of times a week. Finally you have Eight Rivers, a formal ala carte where men have to wear trousers. The food here is exceptional for a all inclusive hotel. Service at all restaurants is really good with friendly knowledgable staff, the house wine is from Chile and of a good standard. Evening entertainment is pretty low key, there is normally something going on either outside around the pool or on the main stage. The stand out was Silver Birds Steel band. There is also karaoke and a small nightclub. Then there is the piano bar. This is where most people end up around 9.30 for the piano singalong, it can get quite busy and loud at times. All drinks are top shelf brands and there is always a buzz around the place. There are loads of daytime activities to keep you occupied, all watersports are free and if you are a diver then there is a daily dive out on the reef. there are also 2 snorkelling trips a day and a glass bottomed boat trip every day. I did a lot of sailing on the hobe cats, Colin was an excellent teacher. There are 2 pools, a quiter one to the right of the main building and a swim up pool to the left. There are more beds than guests and each bed has a cushion that doubles as a float if you want to take it into the pool or sea. The beach while not large is clean with soft sand that continues into the water. The bottom does slope quite steeply so it gets deep pretty fast. There are 3 floats to swim out to and lie if you want to. The pools are good and the swim up bar fun although it can get busy at times depending on the guests. We had a large party of about 20 while we were there and it got a bit boisterous. The hotel also offers guests 3 free excursions, one to Dunns River Falls which I reccommend, its only half a day and a lot of fun. the second is an afternoon catermaran cruise up the coast. This is a fun afternoon of drinking and swimming. Finally there is a shopping trip. I cant comment as we didnt go. There is the Au Natural Island just off the coast, I cant comment again as we didnt go but a lot of guests seem to like it. You also have the option of visiting the Sans Souchi resort on a exchange. This is worth doing as the hotel is totally different in layout to Tower Isle, spread out up the coast and around some fantasitc gardens. Quick shout out to one of the Garden staff Hopeton who showed us around the garden of which he is very proud of showing us the various pants and wildlife. The food here is very good and the staff again amazing. This was our first trip to Jamaica and Couples Tower Isle. We had a fantastic time. you can rave about the hotel and facilities but what makes it special are the people who work there. I have never met staff who obviously love their jobs as much as here. From the first to the last minute of your holiday you are treated as family and this is what gives the hotel its heartbeat and warmth. Read less

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable all inclusive on the beach hotel with lovely staff, great food and drink, fairly low key entertainment (its not an 18-30 kind of place, with foam parties), then CTI is a brilliant choice. We are repeaters (13 visits) to Couples Resorts, we love CTI, it's our firm favourite. The staff are just fabulous, very warm and attentive, working so hard. Of course, we've got to know quite a few of them rather well by now ☺️ lots who have worked there for years. To name just a few, Jacient, Omar, Weyonia, Pauline, O'Neil, Bryan, Travis, Stretch, Courtney, Everton, Lord Byron, Kirk, Keyshon, Ms Bailey. It's ultra all inclusive so no extras to pay for (unless you wish to upgrade your wine). Booking restaurant reservations were never a problem. Overall, the food was very good. We only ate in the buffet restaurant breakfast and lunch times. There's a vast array of drinks to choice from, including premium liquor brands. Bar staff are very entertaining, making amazing cocktails. Trips to Dunns River falls, boat trips, water sports all included. There are always plenty of sunbeds anytime of day. 2 lovely pools to choose from. Small, peaceful private beach, no one bothering you trying to sell you stuff. There's not much shade around the pools, though. Okay, rooms are a little dated but perfectly fine, they are spotless, have a large comfy bed, lots of pillows, dressing gowns, smart TV, fresh towels, plenty of hot water, full bottles of shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. We always have a good time here, catching up with friends and making new ones each time we come. ❤️ Read less
