We, husband, 13 year old daughter, and I stayed for 2 weeks over the end of March and beginning of April 2025, celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and in anticipation of a couple of big birthdays later in the year. Airport transfers were taken care of by Virgin holidays, who we booked with. My husband had stayed previously (40+ years ago) and was keen we should experience this beautiful hotel, situated on picture perfect Alleynes Bay. Upon arrival, the hotel welcomed us with cold towels and a choice of alcoholic or soft drinks. After a long day of travelling, these were much appreciated. Prior to our visit I had informed the hotel of my husbands reduced mobility, and we were delighted to be upgraded to a fully accessible, ground floor ocean front suite. The hotel, also provided a wheelchair, an absolute godsend as without my husband would not have managed to get from our room to The Palm Terrace restaurant for breakfast due to distance (approx 300 yards). Our suite was beautiful, comprising a Queen size bed along with a comfortable double sofa bed, for our daughter, there was ample wardrobe space with 2 double wardrobes in the bedroom and a large walk-in closet in the bathroom, all had lots of coat hangers. The bathroom was spacious with wc and shower enclosure being fully accessible and fitted with secure handrails. A marble vanity unit and sink completed the set. Plentiful fluffy towels were changed twice daily. Breakfast was served daily in the open fronted Palm Terrace restaurant and was a buffet with an egg station for freshly cooked omelette, scrambled or fried, a cold room held, cereals, fruit (delicious) bread, pasties, cold cuts and juices. Tea and coffee were brought to your table, but could occasionally have been hotter, generally remedied once pointed out to staff. We stayed on a B&b basis, but enjoyed lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals in both Teboras and the Palm Terrace serveral times, service was always with a smile, but often took a while. Our suite included butler service and the delightful Dawn ensured we were well looked after at all times, arranging taxis when required and ensuring we had a fresh pot of tea and coffee on our patio most mornings after breakfast. Staff are plentiful and checked frequently if we required drinks or food from the beach club whilst we enjoyed the sun on our terrace, which had table and chairs and 2 very comfortable sunloungers, topped with fresh towels daily. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would return to this lovely hotel, which is beautiful but a little tired in places. However, the island and its infrastructure isn't really wheelchair friendly, without considerable forward planning. Read less

My favourite place in Barbados to stay when I’m here for work and a bit of fun! I came early ahead of meetings and Ryan, Ray and Lee are amazing people at the activity zone. So caring and helpful with their boat and equipment and helped save me when I mistakenly gybed the Hobbie incorrectly and tipped over and couldn’t get it back up. Thank you… Read more

The views here are also so amazing from every room you hear and see the ocean. It’s a smaller hotel but excellent! And the breakfast buffet and dinners have one of the best selections of fruit I’ve encountered on my many travels. Read less

There were a few niggles but all were sorted out once Mr Martinez stepped in to resolve them. Hotel could definitely do with a bit of a spruce up in some areas and should prioritise this, along with some service refresher training, so that they can compete alongside other 5* hotels nearby. Big shout out to Shane, Jalisa, Tia and a special one for Simon (and his team) for his happy disposition, bright shirts and smiling face every day. The world needs more people like Simon!! Read less

A stunning beach setting with a great team looking after us, especially Jalisa with her smile to greet us at breakfast and lunch each day, she was never far away with service with a smile. Also, Nicole for her hard work all day bringing drinks on the beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
