From the moment you arrive at the airport, staff were ready to grab your luggage and point you in the right direction. Upon arriving to the resort we were greeted by our butlers and breathtaking views of crystal-clear turquoise waters and a beach that feels like it’s straight out of a movie.
Throughout our stay our butlers (Vito, Rae, and Samantha) were amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. As someone with Celiac, they (as well as restaurant staff) were very knowledgeable about items on the menu that could accommodate my dietary needs. They did everything from setting us up with a beautiful beach day view to bringing us drinks on the beach to bringing us random snacks throughout the day.
We cannot recommend Sandals Halcyon Beach enough & we can't wait to come back to Saint Lucia!

We were warmly greeted at the airport and escorted to the waiting room for Sandals guests. There were snacks and drinks available and employees available to assist guests.
We were transferred to our hotel and were greeted by employees who sang a welcome to us. Very pleasant. We were able to check in quickly and our luggage was delivered to our room.
The resort is so large that we had a difficult time locating our room. It would have been nice to have been escorted; it would have been much easier.
There are restaurants at the resort that have different menus, but each restaurant has the same menu every day. After one week, we were tired of eating the same meal.
Our couples massage was very nice, but it's not something we would buy again. We purchased dinner on the beach, which was set up for us, but unfortunately there was a torrential down pour, so we ate in the included dining room and were not able to have our photo taken. We could have saved money by eating in the included dining room, since the meal was the same.
One morning, we went to the beach and there weren't any chairs available. I was told by an employee that I needed to walk down the beach (it was about three blocks away) to bring chairs to where we wanted to sit. When I arrived at the location, I was told by an employee that only employees could take chairs. I had to walk back to where my wife was waiting to find someone who could bring chairs to us.
Because of this, we were told that the next day, a set of chairs and an umbrella would be made available to us. The next day, we went to the beach and saw nothing indicating it was for us. We found out later, that an escort was supposed to contact us the previous evening to advise us that we would be escorted to our specific location. Later in the evening, an employee asked us about our day, and we said that we never found the specific location. She provided a photo and was shocked that our escort never contacted us. She discovered that an escort was never scheduled.
During the day, there were many pool games and music playing. It made for a pleasant and relaxing day. However, there was nothing available to do at night. Very boring.
As a travel agent and former guest, I cannot and will not recommend Sandals.
