Nestled on the beautiful beach of Flic en Flac and surrounded by landscaped tropical gardens, this relaxed resort has a welcoming Mauritian atmosphere. The outlook across the lagoon and the bay of Tamarin, with Le Morne Mountain in the distance, is impressive. Being on the west coast of Mauritius, you'll also be spoilt by amazing sunsets. The beach here is bounded by two reefs, an inner one that gives the hotel's swimming beach privacy and an outer reef where there’s a selection of complimentary water sports on offer. Enjoy the translucent, calm lagoon and keep a watch from the terrace for the dolphins that come into the bay. When it comes to dining, there's the main Tamarind Terrace restaurant, the intimate Pink Peppercorn on the beach terrace, and Spices, with its refined indoor dining room or more casual outdoor terrace. It's clear to see why this resort has a high volume of repeat guests.

Wonderful Place on the west coast. Quiet and clean. Food very good (taste and quality). Watersports every afternoon.
Bus stop ap. 10min walk away (eg to go to Port Luis - what we recommend to visit).

This is a great hotel, a great team. They did everything to make our holiday great: service, food, service was at a high level. The beach was a bit disappointing, as it was difficult to swim due to low tides. But it is one of the best places in this area.

We had a fantastic week at Sand suites. Everything was great and the staff are extremely efficient, friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. We had a warm welcome and visit of the facilities from Priyanka, and this really set the tone for the week - friendly and personalised attention to detail. The setting is truly stunning, with uninterrupted views of the ocean and stunning sunsets each evening. The massive infinity pool was never too crowded and there's also a calm lagoon which offers safe beach-swinmming. Ruddy and the poolside team are attentive yet discreet (thanks for the sunglasses-cleaning, Ruddy!) The food was a very pleasant surprise, with an excellent breakfast buffet and varied evening choices, including the dine around concept. The restaurant staff are also really welcoming and efficient. And special thanks to Kushal, who went above and beyond to arrange a wonderful romantic dinner on the beach. We had a very good massage at the spa and enjoyed the snorkelling trip from the boathouse. We will definitely return!

This has been a great holiday. Very well presented with every aspect and all staff are very polite. It was a calm and secluded setting all throughout the holiday. They had a great selection of activities too for those that like to enjoy games.
