The hotel

This adults-only, all inclusive resort is perfect for a relaxing holiday in the Barbados sun. Situated on the west coast, The Club overlooks the Caribbean sea and is a peaceful and friendly place to while away sunny afternoons with a good book and a refreshing drink. Tucked away and intimate, there’s a split-level swimming pool and a full-service spa offering couples massages, aromatherapy salt scrubs and body wraps. Or build up an appetite for dinner by diving into the abundance of water sports, play tennis or enjoy a guided morning walk. The two restaurants will tempt you to dine in-house, but lively Bridgetown is just a short drive away and well worth exploring too. You can partake in weekly rum tastings, or simply chill out, watch the sunset and round off another day in paradise.

The overall experience was very good. Most of the staff was friendly, a shout out to Dimitri, Faith, Justino and Theo. For the most part, the food and beverages were tasty. Our oceanfront room was clean and offered a spectacular view. The photos on the website do not match what we saw. Enid's restaurant is in need of significant upgrades and the meals did not compare (overcooked) to the Sunset Restaurant or even the Beach Bar. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of food choices. There is not an option to sit on the beach, the only access was down a few stairs directly into the water. This is our fourth booking with the St James chain of resorts, this location is very small and laid back in comparison to St Lucia and Antigua. Read less
