76 rooms on 3 floors in 2 buildings, with no lifts. All rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen cable TV, mini-fridge (not stocked), kettle, safe, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer (some amenities are on request). All rooms feature a shower only. Standard Rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel, facing the courtyard and Dover Playing field, with either 1 double bed or 2 twin beds; sleeping maximum 2 adults. These rooms do not have a balcony.
Breakfast option: available at a supplement.
Superior Rooms are primarily situated on the upper floors, with a balcony or patio, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Pool View Rooms feature a balcony or patio, with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.
Deluxe Rooms are larger in size and have been recently renovated, with views of Dover playing field, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.

I had a wonderful experience at the Timeout Hotel, all the staff were very pleasant, friendly and efficient.
Additionally, the room was spacious and clean, house keeping was kept up on a daily basis and there was always a face friendly around the corner when help was needed.

Additionally, the room was spacious and clean, house keeping was kept up on a daily basis and there was always a face friendly around the corner when help was needed.
Staff were polite, honest, organised and well presented and the daily breakfast was lovely.
The location was also very convenient, with lots of restaurants, the beach and little shops avaliable within a very short walking distance.
I often get lost due navigation difficulties, but due to the good location and because the staff and locals were always available to provide brilliant guidance in regards to maps, directions and transport options this was not an issue on this trip.
Overall, I had a fabulous first time experience here and would return again in the future.
The only reason I've not given it 5 stars is because I haven't received my $200 deposit yet, as there was no one available on the front desk who had the authority to authorise it, so it's been delayed and a note was left for someone to do it once available instead, which I've never experienced at any hotel before.

Just returned home after 10 days staying at The Time Out...
We had a lovely time .Very nice staff and close to the action.Nice pool which doesn't get over busy. A microwave is available.Rooms clean and modern.Special thanks to Debra of the cleaning staff.

Just returned from Time Out , it had some good and not so good.
As already mentioned it is in an ideal location to explore the Gap and right opposite Dover Beach.
The rooms are kept clean and a friendly domestic team - as previously towels weren’t changed every 4 days

Had an incident with someone trying out door at one night - probably a drunk resident but reception staff kept giving mis information , General Manager was happy to discuss the incident and we changed rooms
Nicholas on security was really helpful
Negative about the Hotel is the reception staff , generally rude and not engaged - when we checked in the was no customer service and someone looked up from the desk and said ‘surname ‘ and that was our welcome - some customer service training wouldn’t go a miss

In the description it states full linen change after 4 days. That didn’t happen but we’re not dirty people generally. Small pillows. We ended up asking for two more as they were tiny. The bath mat and towels were changed partway through intermittently on different days.
Bathroom needs work. The toilet has been minimally installed as if it’s a rocking chair. We had to ask for loo roll twice as this had not been stocked up. The shower is a faff -needs a better shower. Very Little pressure, slow water. A glass screen would be better than an ikea shower curtain on rusty hooks. We had no hot water for 5 out of the 7 days. We managed two hot showers one at 7.30pm on the Saturday night and one at 8am the Sunday we left.
The restaurant has been sub let. The food was good however the sounds coming from it on a Wednesday night resembled a slaughter house with karaoke being screamed and murdered up to midnight. (It did not stop at 10pm as advertised)
There are a variety of cockerels which have a Mexican shout out from 2am onwards every night.
The fire alarm also went off at 2am whilst we stayed.
The pool is lovely.
The refresh and luggage room are good however people need to be aware that they need to book the refresh room in advance.
The reception and staff were lovely.
They arranged for us a taxi to go to La cabane no problems, everyone was super lovely x x
However the room damage waiver $200 has still not been returned to my account.
When we stayed at the rockley down the rd, They had no issue using my world debit Mastercard for the deposit and it was returned immediately before our feet left the premises. Considering you have repeated comments regarding delayed repayments you may want to consider a different banking platform that is more efficient to suit everyone’s needs.
