Cold Room and Noisy AC
Nov 20, 2024mkaramicaWindsor, Canada
We stayed a night at the hotel (checked in at 10:30 pm just for sleeping), but the room was cold due to the old windows. We tried to turn on the AC, but it was too noisy. We could not sleep at all, and finally at 4 am we asked the receptionist to change our room. That bad sleep really destroyed our trip.
Very bad experience.

All in all it was good. Service was great, food was great, no issues with internet or reservations. My first 2 nights were medical rate which was nice my last night wasn't because taylor swift came to town so my last night cost double what my other two nights combined cost but that's what every hotel in Toronto did for that time so it is what it…

Located like a 2 min walk from the hospital which was awesome.

Loved the central location close to amenities such as shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and hospitals. I was there for one week for health appointments so these features were very important.
Dirty room/unclear instructions

I had a kitchenette room with a sofa and a king size bed. Dirty dishes, dirty toaster, dirty cutting board, dirty toilet tank lid, dirty clock radio, broken floor lamp, very low water pressure in bathroom. Unclear and incorrect information from front desk. Bell boys were the best employees with the most accurate information. The furniture was old…

Dirty dishes, dirty toaster, dirty cutting board, dirty toilet tank lid, dirty clock radio, broken floor lamp, very low water pressure in bathroom. Unclear and incorrect information from front desk. Bell boys were the best employees with the most accurate information. The furniture was old and beat up as well. Great location but shocking condition, especially for a hotel of this level. Travelling with my elderly mother in a wheelchair so I did not waste too much of my time addressing all of these issues with the hotel. We came from out of town and it was a big trip for my mother so I didn't want to miss time with her fixing all their problems. They should not allow these conditions to exist. I have never left such a negative review before but I have never experienced such conditions anywhere!

Basic large downtown hotel
Nov 19, 2024middleagedtravel2024
This is a daytime location. At night there are many homeless, drug addicts and people you don't want near your family or loved ones. I had to dodge a half naked guy to park and someone screamed at me as I went to get back into my car to park. Walking in the area is not advised.

The hotel itself is dated, poorly decorated and seems more like a low-end motel (albeit fairly clean) than a four star Toronto landmark. There are better options, but maybe not for the price.
