Sharon at the executive lounge is always a welcome sight for this frequent traveler. She always is so welcoming and has a smile on her face. She's always helpful whenever I might require additional assistance with my accommodation - looking forward to staying here again!

This is the worse Hilton Hotel we have stayed in. I’ve been a Diamond Member since 2007 and now a Lifetime member. No one listens to your complaints or seem to take them seriously. Very rude and abrupt check in experience by the front desk. No real explanation of benefits just told to read the card. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room… Read more

Very rude and abrupt check in experience by the front desk. No real explanation of benefits just told to read the card. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and very little in the way of offerings in the Executive Lounge. We are here for 9 nights so hopefully someone might contact me so we can iron out our problems. Read less

Stayed for a week here on a British Airways Holidays package. Firstly it's a great location, several subway stations within one or two blocks walk, and just a short walk from Central Park, the Rockfeller Center, Times Square, and much more. The rooms (and hotel) won't win any special prizes for beauty, but found it all very clean and tidy, with the rooms huge (we had two Queen beds and comfortable room for a couple of suitcases and other bags), which isn't always the case in New York. Beds were very comfortable (although after 30k steps I think any bed would be) and the cleaning services was excellent, with the room kept in good condition daily. Found all of the staff we dealt with friendly and helpful, and bagged an early check in (for $100) and late check out ($139), which while on the pricey side pretty much gave us an extra day and a half. Admittedly we were very early with check in, but didn't have queues either on arrival or departure and only really saw queues at the desks at very peek hours (early evening). There is a $35 daily (per room) resort fee, but was easy to spend this as credit either in the bar or the very well stocked deli (perfect for grabbing a drink or snack when coming back late as believe it's open until 1am). In short it's a very large, business style hotel (and would say the bar area is slightly undersized for the number of rooms), but if that doesn't bother you and you want somewhere clean, comfortable, and central to stay that is easy to come and go from, wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to stay here again. The room we were given on the 40th floor lived up to all our expectations, the lift (or elevator) system is very efficient though in our room we had to get used to its noise in the background. What stood out most for us were the staff. Check in was efficient, the concierge who helped us with our on line airline check in for our return flight was charming, the bar tenders entertaining, the waiter at breakfast cheerful and the room maintenance team unobtrusively effective. They have a good team here that helped us to have a great few days in the Big Apple. We’d definitely return. Read less

Particularly great service at the breakfast that is part of the Hilton Membership. Karl was very helpful every morning at insuring everything was perfect. The coffee was delicious and the breakfast a great start to the day. NYC is a great place to be for Veterans Day; for the opening of the Radio City Music Spectacular and the beginning of Christmas decorations. Read less
