We have been coming to the Caribe since it opened 27 years ago. Now that is has been remodeled, the experience is even better. The pool staff is amazing-especially Steven Brown who has been there from the beginning. I’ve never seen anyone who enjoys their job more than Steven. His aim is to make every person feel like royalty. My wife and I… Read more

Great resort with free Disney transportation! Only issue we had with our stay was that the A/C wasn’t that good. Otherwise, lovely staff & Tropicale has delicious breakfast. The Market needs more variety of snacks especially for those that like to snack late.

I stayed here for 4 nights to attend a conference at the hotel. This hotel is huge and very close to Disneyworld if you're interested in going to the parks. I didn't have any issues during my stay. There is a good steak restaurant on the property. Read less

The calypso bar is right next to it for drinks or food and the hotel has other places to eat with a shop and Starbucks as well. Its close enough to everything by car and disney is only down the road. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Florida because nowhere else will ever compare to this hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Spacious, updated rooms; but more of a 3-star hotel than 4-star as listed.

I stayed at the Caribe Royale for a conference / work trip, and generally I enjoyed the hotel, the rooms, and the facilities. That being said, the hotel is categorized in most search results as a 4-star hotel, and I'd say its more of a 3-star hotel, maybe 3.5-star hotel at best... My room was updated, and felt new, and I really appreciated the suite-style layout of the room, with a separate living area and bedroom area. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, and the pillows were not comfortable - I'm glad I brought my own pillow from home! The bathroom was fine - it was clean and updated, but nothing to write home about, and the toiletries weren't anything special. The view, even from a high floor wasn't anything exciting due to the layout of the hotel buildings, just a view of the grounds. The check in staff were very friendly, and accommodated a room change request very easily, as I wanted to be on a higher floor. I would probably advise against being on the ground floor of any of the hotels' towers, as there's foot traffic in the hallways past the rooms to get to the elevator areas. As far as the common areas of the hotel - the main lobby / main building houses a Starbucks, small convenience store, and the hotel's bars and restaurants - this part of the hotel was clean and felt upscale. It was convenient that there was a Starbucks and convenience store in the hotel - but the prices of the convenience store and restaurants felt ridiculous and overpriced - like airport prices... But, there isn't anything easily in walking distance from the hotel, so unless you're driving elsewhere, this is it. Or, stop elsewhere to bring your own snacks and drinks instead of using the hotel's convenience store! The pool is the centerpiece of the hotel grounds, and was frequented by families while I was staying there - I didn't use the pool, but it is visible almost always, as you walk around the pool area between the rooms and the main building of the hotel. It was a very big pool with a waterfall with a view of the large pink hotel towers and a few palm trees. It was well maintained. What you see in the photos of the hotel is pretty much what you get. The one part of the common areas that felt a bit rundown were the elevator waiting areas in the ground level of the towers - just a bit rough around the edges, which was odd, considering the rooms had gotten a facelift. Overall, I didn't mind staying at the Caribe Royale, and it would be a decent choice for a visitor to the area, but it didn't really "wow" me. A decent place to stay, nonetheless! Read less
