As you’re here for the beach, the Blades have made sure you’re never far from it, whether you’re lazing on the free loungers, watching moonlight movies on the sands, soaking in the seafront pool and whirlpool, sipping frozen cocktails at the beach bar, or lingering over candlelit suppers at Coco's. The beach itself is lined with beautiful trees to provide natural shelter from the Caribbean rays, so those that don't wish to worship the sun need not worry. It’s not just by the beach though — it’s also steps from South Coast Boardwalk which links you to an array of shops, restaurants and Rockley Beach. The hotel also features an open air restaurant overlooking the white sand beach. 25 years ago we stayed at coconut court and have very good memories of the red rooster pub, Patrick the entertainment guy and the hotel in general. When booking again I was in two minds, our expectations as older folk were now used to the more lavish 5 star hotels but having assessed the alternatives we opted for coconut court again!
Right from the booking everything went smoothly, on arrival our rooms were brilliant and adjacent as requested. The breakfast and bar service were fantastic and the staff were really super.
As time has passed the hotel has upgraded itself and yet retained the authenticity beautifully. Jake’s isn’t as fun as the red rooster was (well not on the night we were there) and there is no Patrick anymore taking kids out to the reef to see the fish or playing fun games on the beach. But the staff are wonderful - a particular shout out to Hadfield the security guy who we had a good giggle with everyday and my favourite waitress Kabea (please recognise her for her wonderful manner and flexibility) she’s a treasure!

The hotel is situated in a perfect location where buses can be caught on the main road to travel to Oistins or Speightstown. We were able to explore so easily. We were sad to leave but looking forward to staying here again. Its a family run, authentic hotel and they make every guest feel like part of their family.

Smaller older family run resort, great location, attentive service on all fronts, clean, staff are attentive to detail, great value. Pool is small but beach is one of the better stretches. No issue ever finding shade. Great food and drink on siteor within short walk. Will definitely be returning.

The room was ok, but not what you expect from a 300 dolars a night room. Clean, big, comfortable bed. There is a small “kitchen” with a macrowave. There is noise from the street at night, the bathroom made a pipe noise so we had to close de water tap of the wc everynight, the air conditioner and refrigerator were also loud. The closet is not very usefull as is doesn’t have shelves. The personal is not very cheerfull, they seem annoyed by guests (not all of them, but that’s the overall sensation). Probably half of the rooms look over the restaurant’s sealing which is not pretty, although you can see the beach. The beach is nice, is like an artificial pool where you can bath up until your waist. You are walking distance to other nice beaches and comerce. Food is ridiculously expensive (in tone with the rest of the island). The person from the activities desk was very helpfull and booked us a catamaran tour in short advance, which we really enyojed and was worth it.
