We were treated professionally by Victor at the Main Lobby Bar. He really knew his drinks and is the best bartender on site. All the drinks we named he made them the correct way and also offered many other drinks . Gustavo was also at the bar and was really good with drinks. Those two are definitely an asset to the Palace Grand. We will specifically visit that bar the next time we are at The Grand. So we are here at Moon Palace in Cancun at The Grand on vacation with friends. When we checked in they tried to pressured us into a 90 minute presentation. We all agreed and then the next day we did the presentation. That took 2 hours. We all decided to join as members and another 90 minutes later we finally were able to walk out the door of the sales office.
After careful review of our contract as a member we all decided to cancel. You have 5 days to cancel and you must do it in writing and mail it in ( not possible as they wouldn’t get within 5 days) or you need to go back to the sales office on the property and cancel in person.
We all have now been in the sales office for 80 minutes and had 3 different people speak to us trying to get us to keep our membership. They have offered at least 5 different offers and finally tried to get us to sign something that we never asked for and we refused. We all were then told it would take another 25 to 30 minutes to get our membership canceled. This as you can imagine has left a very poor taste in our mouth and very dissatisfied with the whole experience.
If you ever visit one of the Moon Palace properties never agree to do the presentation, it’s like walking on to a used car lot and getting a lot of smoke and mirror. Trust me they offer you drinks etc. while you sre signing up but nothing when you decide to cancel.
This has really been a horrible experience and one I would never want any of my friends to experience.
The property is beautiful and the staff very friendly but beware of the sales office and the presentation. There may be many people who are members who are very happy with their memberships and that’s great but we decided it wasn’t for us but didn’t realize the pressure we would have to sit through to cancel.
As I finish this post we have now been waiting another 60 minutes. We waited and waited and finally asked for more help and we were told th as that the paperwork was done and needed to wait until an agent was available and he wasn’t taking an agent away from a sale to do a cancellation. We would need to wait.

We always have the best time....amazing food, amazing golf, amazing spa and most of all amazing staff. It really does feel like you are coming home (they say welcome home when your arrive).
We have become friends with a lot of the staff and they go out of your way to make it memorable. Ask for Martin at Cusco, Jose and Randy at the Wellness pool and Ignacio (nickname Nacho) at Jade. They do move around sometimes but we find them at every visit.
