Our stay was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to Bella, our phenomenal guest experience expert. From the moment we started booking, Bella went above and beyond to ensure our visit was extraordinary. The highlight was the breathtaking firework show she organized, leaving us in awe. Bella’s exceptional service and genuine care turned our stay into a core memory we’ll treasure forever. We were so impressed with our experience that we shared it with friends, who then booked their stay here for their October Disney trip! First stay here. Great property in a great location. Located across from the Swan and Dolphin and neighboring with the Boardwalk property. An upscale Marriott property without the ‘in-your-face’ Disney branding. Easy access to the parks. Shuttle buses onsite to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. For Epcot, you can walk via the boardwalk (15–20-minute walk) or take the Friendship Ferry from the Dolphin resort (across the street, 5-minute walk). To get to Animal Kingdom, you also take the Friendship Ferry from the Dolphin resort (across the street, 5-minute walk). If you are going to Magic Kingdom, the bus will drop you off at the Ticket & Transportation Center. You’ll then have to walk to the Monorail and take that over to the Magic Kingdom entrance. Excellent customer service at this property. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful (even at 4 am). Housekeeping is excellent. Room was super clean and tidy. Housekeeping comes in daily and will often ask if you want a simple tidy-up (towel refresh) or a full cleaning. We were in a 2 queen pool view room. The room was small but super clean. Electronic safe in room. Beautiful bathroom and shower. Very comfortable beds. There’s a lot of pride in this property and I saw workers doing paint touch-ups to the rooms and the cleaning staff working hard. The pool is a decent sized pool. There’s a nice attendant but it’s up to you to get your own towels and set up your own chairs. There’s also an outdoor pool bar/restaurant. Amare restaurant was great. We had the buffet breakfast there twice. There’s also a great snack bar/ café with great options. Coffee, breakfast pastries, fresh pressed juices, smoothies, candy, wine, snacks. Everything is really marked up here. For example, I bought a Poppi Soda for over $5! Laundry facilities are across the street at the Dolphin resort. Prepare yourself for this if you are doing an extended stay. Areas for improvement… The transportation to the Parks is via Disney buses or via buses outsourced to a company called Mears. The drivers can be inconsistent and moody at times. For example (Disney Bus): we were coming back from Hollywood Studios and got caught in a lightning storm. Service on the Friendship Ferry was suspended, and we were directed to take a shuttle bus instead. The driver made it clear to us that he would not stop at the Swan Reserve. We thought this strange and later found out that the drivers are required to stop at the Swan Reserve. We ended being dropped off at the Swan across the street and spend almost 2 hours there waiting for the rain to stop. A huge inconvenience and a murky impact on our guest experience. On a separate day (Mears Bus), we took the bus back from Animal Kingdom. It was a small group on the bus and the driver kept asking if we wanted to be dropped off at The Reserve. When we were finally dropped off, the driver did not stop at the designated stop but let us out on the curb. We had to walk through the landscaping! I asked the driver why he chose to let us off in this fashion and he proceeded to give me attitude. One thing I found odd is the blaring loud dance music in the early hours of the morning. I found it aggravating and offsetting. A better approach here would be softer music until 9 am and then switch over to the upbeat stuff. My humble opinion! The door on the room bathroom is a barn-door style. I personally found this unappealing and lacking privacy. One last thing. We often saw guests who left garbage outside their room doors. There’s nothing nastier than walking down the hall and seeing garbage in the hallways. Some people! All in all, a wonderful stay- will be back. Read less

The walk over to the Boardwalk was actually on a lovely path and about the same distance as the Swan/Dolphin- if not closer. Park shuttles ran often and rarely had to wait. I would stay here again! Staff was excellent and very helpful, rooms on the 14th floor provided a great view and were very comfortable. We traveled with the grandkids and they were able to get all our rooms next to each other. Location is a little further away, so more steps to walk off Dessert. But overall great place to stay

After spending 3 days at a Disney Resort hotel , the Swan Reserve was bliss from the moment we checked in. The room was amazing and the staff friendly. The pool at the Dolphin was a big hit although the bar food was meh. We were able to see the fireworks from our hotel room.
