If you don't fancy opting for an Uber (of which you'll find plenty!), the MARTA is the locals' public transport of choice. A great and affordable way to get in and around A-Town, with one-way fares starting from just a few dollars.
This converted historic building now plays host to living spaces, a food hall, and a rooftop amusement park complete with great views. The perfect place to catch the vibe of this city, and you can step straight from here onto the beltline..
Continue your day with a walk, jog or cycle along the Atlanta beltline, a historic stretch of railway, redeveloped into a pedestrianised collection of parks, trails, and views. You can even take part in Park Run here on Saturdays.
End your tour with a stop at Krog Street Market, a 1920s warehouse turned food hall, featuring popular Southern fare and well-known retailers. You could even head from here to Hop City for a local beer - a great way to end your day.
This historical park covers 35 acres and multiple sites related to the life and work of Dr King - including his birth home, the church at which he was a pastor, and his final resting place.
