Virgin Voyages sleeping quarters are a cut above. Cabins are designed not just to be a cosy bolt-hole with a porthole, but a space where you can truly relax and unwind. Modern, yacht-inspired aesthetics and clever cabin technology make for more than just a place to live (or sleep). The cabins and suites are a hero experience, a signature moment, and a place to escape and retreat from the world. Cozy, stylish, modern and smart... this is sailing the Virgin way.
Choose from several cabin categories across 1,330 rooms. Treat yourself to extra space with an XL Sea Terrace cabin, stare across the waves from a Sea View cabin, find your own little special space with an Insider cabin, or team up on your travels with three mates and book a Social Insider cabin.
Forget the traditional layout of cruise ship cabins – Virgin Voyages have changed the game on that one too. The Lady Ships offer the most lavish, and unique, beds at sea. The Seabed is the first-ever transformational bed at sea, allowing sailors to enjoy their cabin in two distinct ways; as a place to revel, or a place to relax. Award-winning Walter Knoll, who's designed thoughtful and sustainable furniture for over 150 years, is responsible for specially engineering and handcrafting our transformative Seabed in Germany. Add in sensory lighting, a 43” 4+ flat-screen HD TV, a minibar, vanity areas and bathrooms with a rain shower, and you’ve got cruise ship cabins you’ll probably want to move into permanently.
These cosy escapes can be flexed to fit 1-4 Sailors, so these cabins are ideal for solo travellers, duos, and friend groups alike. With roomy rainshowers and cool mood lighting, these cabins are the perfect retreat.
A room with a (porthole) view, these comfortable cabins are ideal for solo Sailors and duos who will love gazing at the sea from the window seat.
With a glam area, Roomy Rainshower and outside terrace (almost all of which come complete with a hand-woven hammock!) these mood-lit cabins provide comfort and sweeping views.
RockStar Quarters are where superyachts meet luxury cruises along with rock and roll royalty. Accents of brass and slabs of marble guide you to spacious stargazing terraces, and every detail of these suites serves to celebrate the romance of the open ocean. The suites were conceptualized by world-renowned designer, Tom Dixon - describing Grace Jones as the muse for these gorgeous suites.
Richard's Rooftop
Booking any suite unlocks access to Richard's Rooftop, an exclusive sun deck where elegance meets exuberance. A lavish, elaborate and members-only outdoor space for RockStar Quarters Sailors to bask under the sun, or have a drink under the stars. Think VIP service, chilled vibes, cool tunes, sophisticated loungers and being surrounded by dichroic glass that casts stunning rainbow reflections through the rooftop.
It’s big, it’s beautiful, it certainly lives up to its name – the Massive Suite is, well, massive! This is a top-of-the-range luxury cruise cabin, and as cruise ship suites go, this one’s a doozy. Sitting right at the front of the ship for those uninterrupted sunset views, it’s tricked out so you’ve got everything you need if you’re rock & roll royalty, right down to the private music room, personal terrace, hot tub and open-air Peak-a-View shower
The Scarlet Lady’s nautical theme continues into the suite, so expect plenty of brass knobs and leather, but you’ve also got 850 square feet of space over three rooms, a private lookout point, a bathroom that’s wall-to-wall marble, and even a hammock. The Massive Suite sleeps up to four people in complete comfort. Scarlet Lady cabins don’t come much better than this.
Are you the host or hostess with the mostess? Then the Fab Suite’s perfect for you. Serve up killer negronis from your very own in-room bar or take your guests out onto your private terrace and watch the sunset. The Scarlet Lady decor features a bit of a nautical theme, and that’s the case with the Fab Suite too, with lots of brass fittings and decorative features that remind you of life on the ocean waves.
Start the day with a yoga session on the terrace and finish it with a glass of bubbly under the stars. Freshen up in the Peek-a-View shower (if you’ve never experienced showering outdoors before, it’s amazing) or chill in the suite and listen to the vinyl record player – so retro, so sophisticated. This spacious 689 sq. ft suite sleeps four people and has a 261 sq. ft terrace.
No, not one of the Spice Girls, but this suite would certainly be posh enough for Victoria and David. Totally glam, utterly bling, and seriously sophisticated, this is the suite for the Instagram generation. You’ll feel like proper A-listers in this 572 sq. ft suite with its own 261 sq. ft terrace. Start the morning in one of two showers (try the Peek-a-View if you’ve never showered outdoors before) and limber up for the day with a yoga session, before heading off and exploring everything that the Scarlet Lady has to offer.
Cruise ship cabins should be all about maxed-out comfort and style, and the Posh Suite has that in bucketloads. Chillax on a sun lounger with your champagne flute sitting on the appropriately-named champagne bucket style table or mix up a mojito from your very own and generously stocked in-room bar. The Posh Suite sleeps up to four in luxurious comfort.
The Gorgeous Suite is exactly as its name implies – utterly gorgeous. Fabulous views from the private terrace are the perfect way to start the day with a sunrise yoga session, followed by the heavenly experience of an outside soak in your very own Peek-a-View shower. Head into the 396 sq. ft suite and grab some breakfast, or wait until the sun is over the yardarm for the first cocktail of the afternoon from your own in-room bar.
All Scarlet Lady cabins are designed with that wow-factor, but the Gorgeous suite takes it to a different level, showing off Tom Dixon’s designs. Your bathroom is floor-to-ceiling marble with a dichroic glass window, while you can let the motion of the ocean lull you into a state of zen-like relaxation in your very own deck hammock, or from the comfort of a massive European king bed. The Gorgeous suite sleeps up to four people.
Unleash your inner rocker in the Brilliant suite, thanks to its retro record player, top quality selection of tunes, its own well-stocked bar, and a 174 sq. ft terrace where you can hold your own private after-show party. Whatever you want on your rider, you’ve got it, whether that’s a bowl of red M&Ms or a penguin (and we’re not talking chocolate biscuits here).
The Brilliant suite picks up on the Scarlet Lady’s nautical theme with brass fittings throughout, as well as extra luxurious touches like the champagne bucket table on the terrace, a Peek-a-Boo shower and a super-comfy European King bed. Make the most of the Rockstar life by cranking up the music and partying under the stars all night on the private terrace. The Brilliant suite sleeps four rock gods and goddesses in lavish style.
How serious are you about living life to the max? The Seriously Suite is everything you need for a rock & roll cruise onboard the Scarlet Lady. This cosy suite is designed for two people, so it’s intimate, luxurious, and ideal for that rockin’ voyage where the champagne corks just keep on poppin’.
On the private terrace you’ve got your very own hammock, champagne bucket table, and insanely awesome ocean views. Inside you’ve got your own bar, a Peek-a-Boo shower, and every Rockstar’s must-have, a retro record player and a selection of banging tunes. Start the day with some self-care yoga on the terrace, and finish it gazing up at the stars with your favourite hits playing in the background. Sounds seriously sweet to us.
