The President Hotel is exceptional in every way! I have never experienced such incredible service at a hotel before; it is WORLD CLASS! Every staff member is warm, friendly and obliging. The view of my room was sensational, and the room was super spacious, luxurious and clean. It was so well equipped with microwave, and all the important kitchen facilities I needed. Parking was so convenient, and the location is magnificent (overlooking the ocean). The porters were available immediately and nothing was too much trouble for them. I made use of the gym, which had all the machines I use, and it was clean, with access to water and gym towels. I loved the delicious room service meals! Breakfast was a highlight too - the friendly staff put one in such a great mood from the start of the day, and the staff are helpful and efficient. Food variety was excellent and the food was delicious. I cannot fault one thing about my stay, except that it was too short! I will be back for sure! Read less

Very Pleased with their exceptional service. Very Friendly and neat and tidy. Slept very comfy. You get a menu of different types of pillows you can use. That was something interesting. Will recommend to anyone using them in the future. They will definitely see me again.

After a good battle the room we then ended up with was poor with shower over a high bath with no handle bar to assist you. A recipe for a nasty accident. The night crew were very helpful in sorting us out with a more safety compliant room. The hotel appeared to be partially refurbished with some floors looking swanky and others showing poor choices in finishing. The public areas were fantastic, bright and clean. The best breakfast and salad on offer at lunchtime. Nice pool and relaxation area. Easy to access the V and A waterfront from here. Local shops and restaurants 10 minutes walk. If you end up here, do not allow yourself to be shafted by the unpleasant female receptionist. They need to think about consistency and that guests with money come in all shapes, sizes , abilities and colours! Read less

It's also accessible to nearby convenient places, with my best being Mojo Market which reminds of London's Covent Garden. Would have given a five star but the reservation process was quite a challenge as the team would take almost two days to respond to my enquiries. I thus went to the hotel with some apprehension as the booking process was not smooth but thankfully my stay was great. Loved it. Read less

Especially came there in person the morning after having made an online reservation for a table, which was confirmed, to ensure that said table will still be available and where it was placed as there was a big rugby game and we wanted to watch this. The manager/staff member, Ashwill still accompanied me to the tables and asked me to choose one assuring me that yes my booking will be for that specific one for us to dine and watch the rugby. That he won’t be there but he would make sure that the staff on duty at that stage knows this as well. Only for us to arrive to no table whatsoever being available and that no tables could be booked when there is rugby, notwithstanding that the online booking system allowed a reservation and a manager/staff member in person provider assurance of said booking to be in order!
