First night in club lounge seemed all over the place and this continued for the length of our stay (large wait for seating, coffee machine, poor display of soft drinks). Lounge room temperature very cool at times. Pool was lovely and receptionist Anne was such a lovely lady who was so welcoming to everyone. We wouldn’t return to stay here Read less

We stayed here for 6 nights in July/August 2024. We asked for a quiet room which we were grateful for as we’d travelled all day . The electrical charging points both in the rising table and by the bed didn’t work at all. Also there was a whirring sound coming from the table so we had to unplug it for fear of a fault. We reported this to the room cleaning lady who kindly passed it on. We were told to make a complaint the following day . We raised it with the male receptionist who just shrugged his shoulders and said ring 0 in the morning and we will send maintenance . No charging for the phone! We then reported it again on day 3 and the receptionist said well they don’t work and here’s a plug adapter… but my phone charges on a USB-C adapter so not compatible. So not a good experience there … the cleaning staff were so kind and thorough with our rooms though . The lifts .. well they work intermittently and you have to go up to go down so allow plenty of time l, we had to allow 20 minutes for a pick up outside the front of the door from our room to the foyer. I heard 6 people got stuck in a lift so we all were told to use the service elevator’s ( wondered why I’d chosen this hotel now!). The pool staff were welcoming but the pool was full of screaming children and was far too cold for me… I walked along to the jacuzzi and it was red hot! The guy at the desk said some people looked very red faced earlier and he was surprised they’d not passed out … so I decided against that idea too. Again I had to use the service elevator. Air conditioning is good but noisy. Having stayed t the Hilton in Toronto I have to say this hotel wasn’t a patch on the stay we had there . One last thing to consider is the hotel allows dogs and we had one in the room above us which wandered around most of the night . Read less

As this building is considered old I wasn’t sure what to expect. As soon as one walks into the lobby, you see that it was modernized really well. Same with the rooms. If you have kids or like to spend time in the room, it’ll pay to get the suite rooms. They are super-sized and super comfy. Furnished and 5 stars all the way. From bed sheets to 2… Read more

If you have kids or like to spend time in the room, it’ll pay to get the suite rooms. They are super-sized and super comfy. Furnished and 5 stars all the way. From bed sheets to 2 bathrooms, great temperature controls and very friendly staff in all departments. Bernardo was great and went the extra mile to settle us in, in the lounge. Having the lounge means having a fantastic breakfast and even happy hour dinner from 5-7pm. At other times one can relax up there and work, play or enjoy the view. They always have fresh fruits and snacks. The pool temperature was perfect at 28C. The sauna was hot and the jacuzzi the same. All in good working condition. The negatives: Not many. The pool is too shallow at one end just above my knees. The car garage has pipes everywhere that extend very low barely allowing an SUV to fit ! Also dark and foreboding though there are elevators nearby. It’s a pricey hotel. No doubt about that, but if you have the bucks to spend, splurging for a suite and lounge make it like a haven! Excellent hotel. Amazing staff. Clean and modern room. Fridge didn’t get cold. Pool was nice and I don’t use hot tubs, but did see it and it was very, very disgusting.
