Our family spent several days at the Chateau Champlain last week. If you are wanting a downtown location easily walkable to many downtown sites and easy access to metro to others look not further. We were able to either hop on the train to reach a different part of the city or easily walk to our destination. The rooms were well appointed for our… Read more

We were able to either hop on the train to reach a different part of the city or easily walk to our destination. The rooms were well appointed for our family. Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and accomodating, property was clean and well run. 4/4 of our family members would happily return to the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. Read less

As soon as my mom and I walked into this hotel, we knew it was going to be a pleasant experience. The lobby is very modern and clean with friendly staff to greet you. I did notice a strong smell in the lobby that my mom wasn't a fan of as she is very sensitive to smells. The elevators were very fancy and didn't require you to hit a button but to… Read more
As soon as my mom and I walked into this hotel, we knew it was going to be a pleasant experience. The lobby is very modern and clean with friendly staff to greet you. I did notice a strong smell in the lobby that my mom wasn't a fan of as she is very sensitive to smells. The elevators were very fancy and didn't require you to hit a button but to rather type your floor number in and it knew to take you there. The rooms were situated well as the bathroom was set aside down a short hall. I loved that they provided us with robes as I used mine every night during my stay. The rooftop terrance was a lot of fun and is on its own floor with the gym. The concierge, Ian Myers was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the best way to see the city of Montreal within two days. He recommended for us to ride the hop on/hop off bus tour which was a great suggestion as we got to see most of the city. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit Montreal as the location is convenient and the staff are inviting. Read less

Superb room with an excellent view of downtown Montreal. good hotel but service is slow. the buttons on the phone do not work so one has to call front desk for everything. Breakfast at m club for members is very limited with nothing for vegans.

We were thoroughly pleased with our visit to Chateau Champlain. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing-multiple heads and settings rarely seen in a hotel shower. The nearby street parking was convenient and free. Access to the Champlain bridge and to downtown sites was very convenient. The price was very… Read more

A first class city center hotel with full service amenities, near much of what you'd want to see in Montreal, either a healthy walk or short ride to the old town waterfront area. We had a comfortable stay and nothing but good things to say about the hotel itself. We'll have to go back because we saw a few things in Montreal, but there is so much… Read more
