Brief stay at the Falls with Family, stayed at the Double Tree. Excellent location to Falls and all NF attractions. Friendly and courteous staff. Lobby, indoor pool and gym excellent. Rooms could use a little refreshing. There is a Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby!

The DoubleTree is the perfect balance of 'nice hotel' and value. If you don't mind the short walk to the Casino/OLG Stage, this is a way better option than the Fallsview hotels which are overpriced. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a $25 charge for parking which isn't popular, but compared to what the Fallsview hotels up the street charge (and gouge), the cost here is reasonable, and feels more secure than the big parking lots around the casino that those hotels use. The staff are friendly, the rooms are nice, and everything is clean. If you don't mind a short walk to the fallsview area, and prefer to stay somewhere 'nice' and not the budget basement types of places, this is the place to stay. Read less

Rooms are nice and clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Nice bathroom also with a very nice bath, with sliding doors that opens it up to the bedroom. Bathroom has double sinks also and a decently sized walk-in shower. With Crabtree and Evelyn bath products. Our room had views of the American falls and downtown Niagara Falls. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. Both were reasonably priced and tasted good. The hotel is a quick 8 minute walk away from both the Fallsview Casino and the OLG Concert Stage. My only major gripe is the hotel charging $28 plus tax for parking. The Holiday Inn very close to it, located right across from the Fallsview Casino, offers complimentary parking for its guests. What makes this hotel’s parking so special that you, as a paying guest, have to pay almost $30 for above ground parking?? And when I mentioned this to the staff at reception, their advice to me was, if I don’t like paying for parking there, then I can go park somewhere else. It’s things like this that leaves you with a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth and spoils what otherwise could have been a great stay. Read less

The Doubletree is one of the best deals, quality vs price, in Niagara Falls. The rates are reasonable and self-parking is only $22/day - we have stayed at the Marriot closer to the falls in the past, where parking was $50++ per day, so $22 is a bargain. We were here over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, and had a great stay once again. Hotel is… Read more

We were here over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, and had a great stay once again. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly, the Doubletree cookies are delicious and although you won't get the spectacular Horseshoe Falls view some of the other hotels get, the view of the American Falls and of the nightly fireworks, is amazing. We also went to the Aveda spa located in the lobby - I highly recommend booking a massage there, they are great! And the spa, IMO, makes the whole lobby smell wonderful. This was our 14th stay at this hotel since 2020 and I guess that says it all... it's great! Read less

There is plenty of parking and we just left our luggage in the car and headed out to see the falls. This hotel is a bit further from the falls than some, but we walked it in about 15 minutes. The daily parking charge was lower than for many of the hotels nearer the falls. We appreciated the warm cookies when we checked in. We booked a Falls View room and were very pleased with our room on the top floor which had a stunning view of the American Falls. You won’t see Horseshoe Falls from this hotel because a few other buildings block the view. The hotel was clean and comfortably and we feel it was a good choice. I’d certainly stay here again if I did a return visit to Niagara. Read less
