The hotel

Hilton Toronto is seriously well-connected — it’s attached to the city’s popular PATH walkway, an underground labyrinth linking you to top downtown sights and forming the world’s largest subterranean shopping venue. If PATH’s 1,200-plus stores don’t satisfy your retail urges, you’re also an above-ground walk from hundreds of shops at Eaton Centre, along with that Toronto tourist must, CN Tower. They haven’t rested on their ‘location’ laurels here though: Hilton have made sure there’s plenty to return to after exploring, with a fitness room, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and spacious modern guestrooms (some with complimentary Continental breakfast thrown in). If you’re just returning for dinner, you’ve got the steakhouse’s prime Midwestern beef and Tundra Restaurant’s Canadian styling and global dining to pick from — each chased with a cheeky post-dinner coffee from the hotel’s own branch of Starbucks®.

The Hilton downtown Toronto was the best! It was in the center of where we needed to be. Not far from shopping at the Eaton Center which you can make a short walk to or the Roger Center which is about a 15 minute walk. The staff were very nice and super helpful. Room was nice and clean, no issues at all. I would definitely stay there again!

Stayed at the property on 10/31-11/3/24 with my girlfriends and it was a trip and stay at Hilton to remember! Katrina, Clarice, and a gal at the executive lounge (sorry, I can’t seem to remember her name!) made us feel so special. I reached out to the hotel a month prior letting them know of this mini-reunion with my grade school friends and was wondering if they can make it extra special. They went above and beyond by asking for any pictures of us growing up; they put them in picture frames and displayed them in our room. They also recognized my diamond status and provided me an upgrade room which had a view of the CN Tower. All of these are greatly appreciated! I wish all Hiltons could be this great. When I return to Toronto, this is where I'll be staying again! Read less

Did not eat at any of the restaurants but the conference food was fine and there is a great little unaffiliated coffee shop connected along the shopping corridor. Very clean, with daily housekeeping. The elevators tended to be slow or get backed up when conference attendees were clustered with use. During peak traffic times may need to plan an hour for airport travel time, but during off times was able to make it to and from in about 30 minutes. Many restaurants within walking distance and a nice walk down to the waterfront and Tower plaza. Read less

The hotel is located in the financial district but it was central for looking around Toronto. The hotel check in was friendly and we were upgraded to the exec floor as we were diamond members. The hotel lobby and corridors look to have been newly renovated, but the rooms look dated in comparison and the bathrooms are small and underwhelming. Still we slept very well and the bedroom had lots of space and good selection of tv channels. The executive lounge is the overall disappointment of this hotel. It’s on 32nd floor with amazing views across Toronto but every time we went there it was dead and there was no one there from the hotel! Usually there is someone there to assist you and can provide concierge services etc, but it was left unattended until drinks and food came out at 5pm. Here’s the other rub, you have to pay for alcoholic drinks at happy hour!! This has never happened in any exec lounge I’ve been to and it was told this was something to do with Ontario law, but this seems like an excuse as the BA lounge at the airport could give out free alcoholic drinks. Therefore it doesn’t seem worth ever paying for. The free snacks were the same every night as well and were just ok. I’m not sure why the hotel bothered to have a lounge given its lack of interest in it! Still I slept well and the service in non executive areas of the hotel was faultless. The lobby bar in particular had extremely good service. Read less

We booked 4 nights in a corner suite but ended up downgrading after being moved twice. This has never happened to us before. Thankfully we moved to a room in the middle of floor 24 which was just fine. Breakfast was ok. Not a huge choice of extras like dried fruit though etc. Gym was decent with a good selection of equipment. Read less
