The hotel

Ready to party in Downtown Vancouver? This is your ideal base to do so, not just for it’s location, but for the hotel itself too! The standard rooms here are pretty compact, but if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest your head after a night out then you won’t be disappointed. Of course, if you want that bit more space to relax, you can opt for a Superior Room or even a Junior Suite (which is perfect for a group of friends to share together!). Start your evening in the Living Room where you’ll be greeted by happy hour, hearty food options and live TV’s – there’s always a reason to end up here. And then when it’s time to up the vibe, head downstairs to the basement. A basement that you wish you had at home, here you can grab a drink, boogie on the dancefloor, or even roll a game of skeeball (that could be interesting after happy hour ey!). Whilst the hotel has everything ready for the perfect party, you’re also within touching distance of many other eclectic bars and restaurants – so no two nights need to be the same. The hotel staff have some great insider knowledge that you can tap into – whatever kind of place you’re looking for. Come day time, you’re just a stroll away from BC place where you can catch the BC Lions or Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Or take a wander through the famous Stanley Park to get some fresh air after your night on the town.

I loved this hotel. It was really well designed and in a great location. I’m not sure if all the rooms were as good as mine but mine was really large and I really appreciated the style. Staff were pretty friendly and I ate at the restaurant downstairs which is actually a smart pub but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I would definitely stay… Read more

we stayed at this hotel one night, went to the Canadian Rockies for four nights, then came back to the hotel for three nights. This is not a high class hotel, no luxurious experience or service, but I would definitely give it a 5 out of 5. The location is wonderful. With around a five-minute walk to the subway station Bugis, this is near most major tourist attractions in the downtown.

My partner and I overnighted at Belmont hotel for a two night stay. Having found a pretty good non refundable deal, our stay was fuss free and lived up to the expectations we had. Front desk staff member Manpreet welcomed us with a big smile on our arrival night, and the other few interactions I had with anyone from personnel were also equally pleasant. Our room was nice and clean, and amenities (including Nespresso coffee) were topped up by our housekeeping team on the second day. The bathroom was new and featured a lovely, big shower. Our two queen size beds felt a little short in terms of length. I’m not a tall guy, but that’s something I would consider if I were 6ft and over. The quirky decor matched the hotel vibe, for an overall sleek, yet unique look. All in all, a very positive experience in a hotel that lives up to its promise. Read less

Our check in was very nice and fast. Already in check in we were asked, what are our plans for Vancouver and advice was given together with a discount voucher for Capilano suspension bridge. Hotel itself is very nicely decorated and clean. In easy reach to all the most important sites. Very friendly and helpful staff.
