Where was the management team? Where was the training? 2 hrs in lobby to get checked in No info on restaurants or bars or services. Not even a “scan this the get the qr codes for info” Housekeeping ok but only 5 of 7 days with tipping every day. Even one day the tip was taken but no clean towels or coffee or bed made Noise level was high days… Read more

The hotel seems to not have enough staff. The past few days 11/21-11/22, some very large groups of people were here, causing quite an unpleasant experience for all the other guests. They were very loud and disrespectful to other guests, even going behind the bars and grabbing bottles of liquor. The bar staff felt uncomfortable and unsafe, the hotel does not have enough security to keep all guests and staff safe. Every guest deserves a wonderful experience and vacation, one should not have to be a Diamond club member to get the experience that they deserve and paid for. Read less

We came here for my sister’s 60th birthday, a group of girls. The resort is safe, clean and very manageable to get around. The rooms were recently renovated and very comfortable bedding. There were enough choices for restaurants - with the all inclusive I didn’t think we would like the food, but it was good. We stayed four nights and only ate one meal outside of the resort. The gym was great. Morning Boot Camp, yoga, Pilates, and pool exercises kept me busy thanks to Elvis and Daniel. I had an amazing massage with Kenneth. The spa is really nice and worth a visit. Ajarnie on the Vibe team kept us active and we learned some new dance moves. I enjoyed the evening shows and dancing. Nothing was crowded which I also liked. We will go back! Read less

Booked our first trip with Royalton Chic Diamond Club and it fell well below expectations. Started off with arriving at the hotel and it taking 1 hour to get checked in. Finally receiving our room key, our butler took us to our room, set our luggage inside and left without any explanation of the resort, the places where we could find dinner that evening etc. It took them 3 days to get bathroom supplies like shampoo,conditioner etc to the room. Every day after room service was there they would remove our soiled towels and never leave new ones. We always needed to call and request with some showing up pas late as 10:30 pm at night or not at all!! The service at the restaurants was fair from good and the food at most restaurants was never warm. At the pool area, they would always run out of towels and trying to get service pool side was almost impossible. The bars would run out of glasses everyday and we witnessed the bartenders rinsing used glasses out with water and pouring new drinks for new customers into them!! Nightly turn down in our room only happened 2 of the 7 nights that we were there. A lot of ther A-la-carte restaurants were closed a few times throughout our stay and it was very tough getting a reservation. We even had a reservation cancelled one evening as they closed the Resturant. The evening entertainment was not at all like advertised!! Although the performers did their best, it fell well below the expectations they had set out on the website - as well- they never once started on time!. I would not recommend this resort to anyone and will never go back until they address the people issues and other issues that is holding this resort back. Read less

We were a party of 14 people for a wedding. Everyone booked 3 months in advance for this trip, in no way they could have not been prepared. Cons: - 2 hours to check our group in - All our rooms keys did not work, and some doors didn't even work ( Took another 2 hours to fix) - Went to grab a quick snack at the food truck while we waited for the keys/locks to be fixed. ( They were out of food) - If you don't have dinner reservations at the a la carte restos, you will not get in - The royalton app never worked once. - a la carte restos are not all open - If you are lucky to get a reservation you will than find out when you arrive they don't actually have your reservations. HA HA HA - The one and only buffet you have, literally serves the same thing everyday and of course there is not enough food for everyone. ( FOOD IS TERRIBLE and I can promise you that I can tell you what exactly will be served. - No service on the beach or pool area. Actually no service anywhere. - Maid service is when they feel like coming - we did room service one night and our order didn't arrive till the next day. - Pool bar service is horrible, they just clean their glasses with water and on to the next guest wit the same dirty glass. -Staff are not trained and very rude.
