The hotel

Part of the Baha Mar resort, Rosewood offers exclusivity and luxury within the bustling complex, so you’ll still feel relaxed and taken care of whilst having plenty of activities on offer – both at land and sea! New Providence’s cable beach is the stunning location for this hotel, which offers modern accommodation ranging from hotel rooms to suites with fully equipped kitchens should you wish to dine in. Service at the resort reflects that of the Bahamas as whole, warm and sincere, with butler options available to take your stay to the next level. If you’re travelling with the kids (or even if you’re not!), Baha Bay water park is a must-visit to get the adrenaline pumping and work up an appetite for dinner. It’s a tough choice for where to go though, with over 40 bars and restaurants available, all of which allow you to simply sign to your room for added ease.

230 rooms, suites and beachfront villas with contemporary beach cottage interiors. All with private balcony/patio, 55” TV, complimentary WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, bathrobe and slippers, separate shower and bath, bathroom amenities, in-room safe and hairdryer.  Butler service is included in One-Bedroom Suites, Specialty Suites and Villas. Resort View rooms are located on floors 1-7, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Ocean View rooms are located on floors 6-12, with partial sea views and either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Premier Ocean View rooms are located on floors 6-9, with full ocean views and 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Studio Suites with resort or ocean views, featuring a separate living area and a kitchenette, as well as 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 people. 

One Bedroom Suites with resort or ocean views, comprising of a full marble bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people. One Bedroom Suites include butler service. 

Grand One Bedroom Suites are larger in size, with resort views and a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, full marble bathroom, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people. Grand One Bedroom Suites include butler service.

Valet parking $19 plus tax per day (payable locally, fee subject to change).

Their incapability takes away the Topclass Bar Manor staff’s hard work that saddens me and also the trying hard beach staff and bell boy, Get the Front Office sorted first Rosewood! - someone said cleanliness is average. Couldn’t agree more, For 3 days the balcony has not been cleaned. Pics saved. Housekeeping informed - no one here still. No apology no action - nothing, Really needs training on hospitality. For the moment that I arrived, loved how the great service of knowing your name and making me feel welcomed and showing me around the room. Also, at breakfast was great to have awesome service! Since I had a butler for my stay..was in constant contact through WhatsApp. Got a complimentary champagne which I was appreciated of. I love the wrist band concept for the key and wish this could be used at other hotels versus a card. However, there were some things that could be improved. There was no acknowledgment of my birthday during the stay or even at check out which happened to be my bday. Since I had some complimentary items during my stay..the bill was not reflective of that and also my post stay..I noticed an extra charge that I somehow got charged but thankfully resolved days later. This is why I knock it off 1 star. Would stay here again overall but would like to tidy these changes. Read less

This has been the worst experience ever. We booked through Amex platinum travel and we extended our stay through a separate reservation. When we got to the hotel we were told Amex had cancelled our longer day. We would have to check into a different room every night to figure it out. Amex had charged us and the hotel dragged their feet to figure it out. We’ve been here for 4 hours. No room in sight. Nothing has been offered as complimentary. There’s like 13 people in reception and nobody seems to be able to do a damn thing. You can’t host a holiday weekend with American guests and not be prepared. Everyone is just twiddling their thumbs while we wait in agony. If there was any hotel available we’d leave but there isn’t. I will never come back here. This is not rosewood standards. I will never come back here ever again. Read less

The hotel is beautiful, but Baha Mar is like a cross between Disney and Vegas. If that’s not your style then take a super expensive vacation somewhere else. On the flip side, The Rosewood is beautiful and the service was top notch. However, we didn’t have one good meal and pretty sure each meal was over $200 for two people. The hotel is beautiful, but Baha Mar is like a cross between Disney and Vegas. If that’s not your style then take a super expensive vacation somewhere else. On the flip side, The Rosewood is beautiful and the service was top notch. However, we didn’t have one good meal and pretty sure each meal was over $200 for two people. The best thing we ate were the sliders at the Manor Bar. I don’t regret the trip, but we won’t be going back. However, we would definitely stay at another Rosewood property in a different location. So much that when the NBA was having the Summer League in Vegas last Summer in 2023 they stayed at Resorts World and a few of the executives stayed at the Rosewood in Vegas and then they have stayed with me at the Rosewood in Baha Mar and they said the Vegas one was okay however it was nothing compared to the Rosewood in Baha Mar. Night and Day! I think Between the Island charm of the Bahamian people, their work ethic, the fact most of their team is the original team from 2017 thats a big deal. But when you have employees like Shanequar, which she is an asset to that hotel and the team. (I have seen that woman cleaning a room for a guest so they could get in the room quicker.) She is amazing! I’ve never seen anyone do that and I was in restaurant/hospitality in my younger years. Then there is Ricarra another….great employee. Goes above and beyond. Even butlers that I’ve met 7 years ago still remembered my name. They act like their name is on the building not Rosewood. And Manor Bar with Fluffy and the entire crew. It’s just priceless!
