I would like to begin with the positives, nothing but friendliness all over the place from the security staff to the bell staff to the ladies at the front desk. Visiting Barbados for 5 days for 5 days partly pleasure and also to check out the hotels in the area as I am planning an event in 2025 and looking for the best accomodations. Booked for 1 night the ocean view King bedroom only to have my supposed Ocean View suite obscured by forest/ trees. While I understand running such a large property is not easy I would be dishonest if I did not point out the fact that this property is extremely dated and in need of a renovation. I was really disappointed especially because it is after all the “HILTON”. The bathroom is not very clean at all, I just tolerated it because it was only 1 night and inwardly thankful I was night staying longer than that. The room service menu is very limited. The property is in a great location. Overall I am disappointed and could not help but to feel I could have stayed home and rented a room in a luxury hotel in my city. Read less

We (family of four) have just got back from six nights at the Hilton Barbados celebrating our son’s 16th birthday – It was AMAZING! Considering what everyone had just been through (Hurricane Beryl) the team at the hotel were very energetic and upbeat – the Team at the reception were very helpful from the moment we arrived – always checking in to see how everything was as we passed. Everyone there, and I mean EVEYONE always greeted us with a smile and upmost respect. Our room was a double on the seventh floor, very clean nice wooden floor with a balcony having a great view. The room was stocked up daily with plenty of coffee and water bottles. As we were there celebrating our son’s 16th Birthday, the team had organised a lovely chocolate cake in the room the night before the big day – so a big thank for that!!! We did not eat much in the hotel, except from the café by reception – very nice food / coffee and open all day. The very nice lady at the customer service desk helped us arrange a day out on The Cat & Fiddle the 62-foot Luxury catamaran from Lagoon Catamarans (another review) – very helpful and informative and took time to listen to what we were trying to plan for the day. The pools – though we could not get in on our first evening there (due to cleaning after Hurricane Beryl), the following days were perfect, plenty of towels, no need to get up at 6am to find a spot – the team there even put-up balloons. Though there is plenty to do on the island, we just chilled most of the time, eating out local (Bali’s / Buzo / Champers) and two great evening out (Oistins / St Lawrence Gap) – all recommended by the team at the Bell Desk – always good to ask them for suggestions. Overall, a great first time visit – highly recommend it!! Read less

Very nice hotel in a good location. Easy to walk to Carlisle Bay or a short cab ride anywhere else. I met your senior sales manager Marc McCollin at the travel show in NYC earlier this year. I had a lovely conversation with him about the hotel and things to do in Barbados. He told me about a travel show special rate and I was able to get a discounted stay thanks to him. He also gave me the contact information of the deputy curator of the Barbados Museum, since I have a strong interest in history. As a result, I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and was able to walk to the Barbados Museum, where I had a curator's tour of a temporary exhibit. Thank you Marc. I had a comfortable hotel room with a lovely view from my balcony. There are a variety of restaurants so I could try several of them. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the Lighthouse Restaurant. There was a nice variety of items on the buffet, plus a cook-to-order station for omelets and fried eggs. It was nice to relax on both the beach and by the pool. I also enjoyed a massage at the spa. Historic Charles Fort is located next to the hotel. It's nice to be able to explore this fort in the cooler hours of the day. You can walk to the Barbados Museum and the George Washington House. Bridgetown is a short taxi ride away. I also want to compliment the helpful woman at the tour desk. She booked two tours for me and I had a nice conversation with her. Read less
