Terrell was our chef. My guy is hilarious!!! We had a great time and we took a picture with him and our family. The food was perfect. We left full and with great family memories. We had chicken, fish, steak, and shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. We sung One Love with Terrell as our lead. Samurai - Japonese Restaurant

He was very engaging, and entertained us in a way that got us all in the mood to enjoy a good dinner! Food was well made, flavorful, and tasty! Terell's masterpiece was definitely the highlight! This was echoed by several other guests. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant is a must during vacationing here. We are still at the resort enjoying ourself but had to write this review after leaving the restaurant. Read less

Honest review- I give this place a 3.5/5. Pros- The pool, although it’s not brand new, the pool is big & very fun. The staff keep it fun with all their activities that make the pool area very entertaining. And a great swim up bar, where the bartenders are working hard to get everyone their drinks quickly. The beach- close, plenty of shade options, waves are gentle. Very enjoyable. Dressler diver is an excellent onsite resource if you are there for scuba diving or even snorkeling. Cons- the rooms need a renovation. Mold in the bathrooms, old fixtures, very dim lighting. There needs to be more food options, I get it they serve intentional dishes, they have liver and some kidney dishes on the buffet, but if they had a few more American type options, like chicken fingers or tacos sometimes my kids would have enjoyed that. And the ice cream shop doesn’t open until later like 3 or 4 pm. And the “concierge” pushing their agenda of selling you a time share was too much. Calling my room at 8 AM and telling my husband and I we have to come back to sign documents? And when we get there this is all a lie. They are not nice about it either. Overall we enjoyed it. We did had trouble at the airport yesterday, took 1.5 hours just to check bags and another hour thru security. We got there 3 hours early and got to the gate only 15 minutes before boarding. Was very unorganized. We went on an excursion and use Ryan Sinclair with RGS and I would highly recommend them. If you want their contact info let me know. And we loved the cat sanctuary!! Read less
