The beach was great! The service was top notch, the food was amazing. I would definitely visit again. If you’re looking for a party resort this isn’t it. I had so much fun creating my own party and memories with my friends. We were right on the hip strip.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an adults only, all inclusive luxury resort that had spectacular food and the S Hotel Montego Bay was absolutely the right choice!
We booked a “Sky Suite King Ocean View” room and were assigned room number 649 which I’m convinced is the best room in the entire hotel. Not only did we have an incredible view of the beach/pool, but because we were on the top floor, we also had an unobstructed view of the beautiful sunsets each night. The room was clean and well maintained as well, with plenty of fluffy towels and pillows on the bed to make sure we were always comfortable.
The food at the S Hotel Montego Bay was next level. I’ve heard so many times from friends who have booked other all-inclusive resorts that the food is usually just ok and nothing special, so it was really important for us that the resort we chose served great food + drinks. Being that this is a smaller boutique resort, I believe this allows the team at the S Hotel to allocate more resources to providing a quality dining experience vs. focusing on mass-producing food quickly for a large amount of guests. The food was fresh and clearly made with quality ingredients and everything we ate during our stay was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend is Jamaican and he was in heaven with all of the fresh, authentic Jamaican food options available at every meal.
In addition to a buffet that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the resort also has a few small fine-dining restaurants on property that serve a variety of cuisines and are open for dinner. If you stay here - don’t forget to make your dinner reservations in advance! Although there are multiple restaurants on-site, not all are open every day so availability fills up quick. Unfortunately we didn’t know this before we arrived, so we were only able to make reservations for 1 out of the 4 nights we stayed. I don’t blame the resort, though, because the receptionist did tell us to call her once we were settled in our room so she could make our reservations asap, and unfortunately we ended up getting distracted by exploring the resort and forgot. Luckily the dinner buffet was delicious and had a good variety of food, so we still ate exceptionally well throughout our entire stay.
The entire staff at this resort is so nice and accommodating. The front desk / concierge team were always so helpful and the kitchen / restaurant team were always on top of refilling drinks, clearing plates, and making sure we had anything we needed. On the beach there is also a dedicated team ready to put out chairs and an umbrella for you wherever you want - just tell them where you want to be and they’ll make it happen. They also have servers to take your drink / food orders on the beach + by the pool so you never have to leave your spot and can focus on enjoying your time.
We are already planning our next trip back and can’t wait to stay at the S Hotel Montego Bay again.
