Where is it

Located in a gated golf community at the entrance to Playa del Carmen, in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Playa del Carmen´s famed Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) is just a 10- minute drive. Transfer time from Cancun Airport: 45 minutes.

Preferred Club Superior Junior Suite Ocean View, these suites are located in the main central building of the resort with close proximity to the resort’s gourmet restaurants.

Sergio / Flix/ Myriam(restaurant host)/ Aranza made this trip feels like home ❤️ We stayed 5 nights and the food was great, we watched all the shows at night, you can’t believe how hard the entertaining team performed for the us!! Overall was an excellent experience! Gracias!! We will be back! 😊

My family (husband, brother in law, and sister in law) booked our trip last minute under some less than happy circumstances (my sister in law is losing her battle with stage 4 cancer). Jose Carlos Jimenez & his team found out about our situation from another loving guest. He approached us respectfully and with grace and offered to put a smile on all of our faces. Extremely expensive for what is offered and our experience. 1. The humidity is no joke. The rooms smells like a strong odor of mildew. You are given incense to help mask the smell. Everything is damp in your room, including your clothes, which also take to the mildew smell. GROSS! 2. We checked in “preferred” with a wait of around 30+ minutes, while there was no wait for the non preferred. 3. The preferred is NOT worth it. You get access to a small pool, a restaurant for breakfast which has the slowest to non existent service, and the preferred lobby bar that does not even offer bottled water. 4. Food- hit or miss. Overall good. Our experience was disappointing at Embers (steak) and Allora (Italian). All others were really good and great service. Enrique at Suki was amazing. 5. Pools- Juan at the main pool, along with Jacob and the entertainment team, GREAT job. 6. Nightly shows- short in length of time but okay. Bartenders worked hard. No line for a great drink. 7. Bars on site-Dark Horse was slow to respond. 8. We declined the presentation. Impression is pushed but we were not interested based on current experience. 9. Spa was one of the best we have ever experienced. The hydro therapy experience was priceless. The massage itself- so-so. 10. No Ubers allowed. Taxi are $20 for 3 miles. Take cash as their credit card machines suddenly “stops working”. 11. One elevator working with a packed resort. No air circulating anywhere. It is HOT and sticky. 12. Room service was great the first two days but non existent the last 3 days. 13. Beach was not pretty or easily walked on because of debris. 14. The wine frig could not be plugged in. It was 3 prong and the outlet was 2 prong. 15. Tennis courts were worn badly. For us, we will not return. There are too many other resorts of high quality, without the maintenance issues this resort is experiencing. Read less

The entertainment crew is honestly so fun and so hyped. My wife and I had the BEST TIME! Monica, Arzana, Miguel, and Sergio go above and beyond to make it so much fun! We’ve never had more fun on a trip and they made sure of it! Also Alejandro on rooftop of pool concierge was truly the very best— so attentive and helpful!!

I LOVE ARZANA, MONICA, MIGUEL, y SERGIO from entertainment. They are SO divertidos and do such an amazing job! Thank you for making our trip soooo fun! And Alejandro on the rooftop of Preferred as pool concierge was just amazing. So grateful for such wonderful service! Best trip ever!!!
