Where is it

Set within the hillside of Castries, offering stunning views over the Caribbean sea. Transfer time from airport: 1 hour 15 minutes. Helicopter transfers are available.

Hotel information

76 rooms. All with air-conditioning, private balcony or patio, cable TV, telephone, clock, tea and coffee supplies, kettle, iron and board, walk-in shower, hairdryer and safe. Rooms are located in the main building and offer either private balconies or patios with views of the Caribbean Sea or beautiful gardens. Garden Bungalows have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks and drinks. Bottled water is not included. All activities and entertainment unless otherwise specified.

Garden View Rooms have 1 king-sized bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Partial Ocean View Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Ocean Views Rooms offer stunning views across the Caribbean sea with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Superior Ocean View Rooms have 1 king-sized bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Complimentary shuttle service to the beach (5 days per week, 9:00am-4:00pm).

2 restaurants, 3 bars and a Coffee Shop; Verandah Restaurant & Bar (buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Kilibwi (fine-dining experience), Lulu's Cabana Restaurant and Bar (cosy spot to grab a drink or a light snack), Rooftop Bar & Lounge. Poolside Bar (self-serve poolside bar). Coffee Shop & Library.

A carefully crafted entertainment program offering evening entertainment 6 nights per week, and a once weekly St. Lucia evening. Hospitality lounge. A Managers cocktail party, and a Mixology session once weekly.

Please note: this property is in a hillside location. Due to this, there are a lot of stairs and there are no lifts, therefore it is not a recommended hotel for guests with mobility issues.

Bel Jou, thank you so much for the most amazing honeymoon. All of the staff there, every single one of you are so friendly, you all work so hard and you really did make sure we were having a fantastic time. Something we both especially thought was lovely was the managers coming to speak to us and introducing themselves and asking us if we were enjoying our time away. Not just the managers but all the staff there were just amazing, we loved getting to know you all. We liked learning about the St Lucia history and their culture and enjoyed the Caribbean evenings. The food was fresh at Bel Jou’s and overall delicious and oh my the rum punch’s!! We loved the self serve bar too, especially on the chill days by the pool. Also my husband and I are coffee lovers so the coffee shop was especially lovely with the beautiful birds we’d hear in the morning. We met some lovely couples away too, overall a fab place. We definitely recommend Bel Jou Hotel the most stunning location and views. One thing you could improve was that it got pretty loud at both pools which was hard when all you wanted was to read your book. I remember switching pools 3 times in 1 day because it got too loud at both pools. But if you had any issues about anything, the staff would help you in an instant. Absolute 5* holiday! From the amazing staff, to the food, to the entertainment, Bel Jou is a fabulous place to stay!! Kudos to Alvin & his chef crew because the homemade food was amazing and cooked beautifully! One of the best places to stay & eat I've been to. Would definitely return, and can recommend staying here! You won't be disappointed.

I just returned from a four night solo stay at this resort. I must say, it was another great experience. The food is absolutely amazing with many options and variety. I am a pescatarian and having fish prepared differently every night with this amazing Caribbean flavor was perfect. The staff are awesome, and would periodically check in on you to ensure everything is good. The room was perfect, it was clean, spacious and the view of the of the lighthouse on the peninsula was breathtaking and made good use of it whilst enjoying my morning coffee. My recent stay at the Bel Jou Hotel was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Shout-out to Mickey and Quincy specifically. They are both great! The food was delicious, with a variety of options to suit everyone. I was particularly impressed by the food since its a smaller resort and from my past experiences food at all inclusive can be a hit or miss but they did a great job. I absolutely loved it there was always a local dish option because I like to eat local foods wherever I go. One of the highlights of my trip was celebrating my birthday during the hotel's Creole Festival BBQ. The festivities were amazing, with many talented musicians and dancers. The food was amazing and friendly locals. It was a truly authentic cultural experience. The hotel's free shuttle service to the beautiful beach was a convenient and great way to spend the day. The pristine waters and stunning scenery were simply breathtaking. Definitely one of my top favorite beaches. I highly recommend the Bel Jou Hotel to anyone seeking an affordable relaxing, laid-back vacation in St. Lucia. Read less
