My husband and I loved this resort! We stayed in one of the beachfront rooms with an outdoor soaking tub. The room was perfect and the outdoor area had a curtain for privacy, which was perfect as the path in front of the room was pretty well-traveled. Housekeeping kept the room pristine and well-stocked. While you can travel between resorts via Sandals shuttles, we did not feel it was necessary as the food, beach, and pool were amazing. There is a pretty good assortment of food options that range from beach casual to dressed up (dress for women and dress pants for the guys). The beach was quiet and we never had a problem finding chairs. There were some locals on the beach trying to sell souvenirs, but they were not too bothersome. I would recommend booking any excursions through the resort as it gave me peace of mind, especially knowing that transport was prearranged. Everyone was very, very friendly, and we were informed that this resort is the quietest of the three Sandals resorts on the island, which was perfect for us. Overall the trip was amazing and we plan to return! I also highly recommend the Catamaran sunset cruise with snorkeling. Read less

The staff and service are exceptional We were lucky enough to stay in a room with out door bath and also a lagoon room both of which were wonderful The hotel is very clean and the food and are of a good standard , we only had one bad meal and service in our 8 days there so didn’t have the heart to complain too much The beach isn’t the best I have seen in the Caribbean and we were unlucky with the weather but I would still rate this hotel in the top 3 all inclusive resorts I have stay in. We visited the other 2 sandals resorts on St Lucia but we much preferred Halcyon the staff went out of their way ti make us feel at home We loved singing round the piano with Patrick and Jenny and the various pianists.. Criton the duty manager , karim in the bar and Ruth on front desk all played a part in giving us a wonderful experience Read less

A wonderful venue to commence your holiday break!! Sandals Halcyon is located close to Castries and maneuverable to various points across the island, including two other like resorts. The food was delicious with various options to meet the dietary needs of guests. What really made our trip was the staff. Jayden (with a "y") stole the show. His helpfulness, curiosity, professionalism, and kindness were top-notch. He's an astute problem solver and extremely dedicated to his work. Jayden was our go-to person for much of the 5-day couples retreat, too. Lots of love and thanks to Berlitha and the ladies of Bayview and other restaurants, including the awesome birthday wishes, treats, and singing. Likewise, spa specialists Celine, Dania, Juliana, Vanessa, Zenith, Iva, and Temaka, you all are incredible. The fire show was lit; what else would it be during the carnival season. The performers and DJ closed us out with a bang while photographers captured priceless moments during our stay. Read less

We stayed at Sandals Halycon for 2 weeks for our wedding and honeymoon. Having our wedding at Sandals Halycon was one of the best decisions we made!! We wanted a small and intimate wedding, just the two of us and the wedding team really made the day feel special. When we arrived at the resort a member of the wedding team met with us and arranged a meeting for the next day. At the meeting we finalised the details for the day and signed some paperwork. After that there was nothing, we needed to do, everything was handled by the wedding team, so we were able to really relax. The day itself was truly magical, Techla, Nadege and the rest of the team were AMAZING before, during and after. They froze the top tier of the wedding cake, so we were able to take this home with us, they decorated the room for after the ceremony, they booked and organised our evening meal and breakfast the next morning. We bought the basic photography package, and our photographer was great, we aren’t really picture people, but he made us feel at ease and captured some amazing memories. We were able to choose which pictures we wanted and had the option to purchase additional pictures outside of our package. In terms of the resort the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Have no complaints about the food, however the service is quite slow. We would go to Kelly’s for breakfast and would be in there for 2 hours, similarly when we went to the Bayside Bistro it took 3 and a half hours for our 3 courses. We highly recommend Soy, Kominos and Kelly’s!!! Never had an issue getting a sun lounger but there always seemed to be a shortage of pool towels. No fault of the resort, they just couldn’t stock them up fast enough before all the towels were gone. The bar team both during the day at the main pool near reception and evening were faultless, highly recommend the raspberry mojito. Shout out to all the bar staff but especially Michelle and Vince who were fabulous. Rooms were clean and our fridge was well stocked. Would stock the fridge with anything we requested. Really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend Halycon if you are thinking of getting married in St Lucia! Read less

When booking our 4th stay at a Sandals. Sandals Halcyon Beach wasn’t our first choice. We initially planned to spend our anniversary at Sandals Dunn’s River. However, a hurricane forced us to change our plans. So, on July 2nd, we switched to Sandals Halcyon July 3-8. We had a beautiful shore room with a butler, but the butler team didn’t meet our expectations. This was our first experience booking a room with a butler at Sandals, and perhaps our high expectations were the issue. We’ve vacationed with friends who had butlers at Sandals and witnessed the exquisite service firsthand. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any above-and-beyond service from our butlers. They weren’t very responsive to the butler phone, and we were only able to secure one reservation of our choice during the entire trip. Even then, the butler gave us the wrong time for the shuttle service, so we had to pay for a taxi instead of using the complimentary shuttle. The best part of the trip was getting a pool spot, but given that the resort was small and not at full capacity, we could have gotten our desired spot without the butler’s help. I’m not here to bash the butlers we had, as they were amazing individuals. After rearranging our trip due to the hurricane, I understood the island itself had been affected by the storm. However, we were hoping to be pampered during our stay at Sandals Halcyon. Aside from our butler service, the island and its people were beautiful! We booked two vacations during our stay: one in October to Curacao and another in July 2025 to Dunn’s River, where we’ll try the butler service again. My wife wasn’t thrilled with our overall experience, but what helped was the day before we left. On our anniversary, our patio was decorated, and although the breakfast order wasn’t correctly taken, it was still a great gesture. Later that night, our butler decorated the room for our anniversary. These were the kind of experiences we were looking for throughout our trip. Unfortunately, we had to ask for them. Would we book at Halcyon again? Right now, I would say not likely. Read less
