Sharing a preliminary review of the hotel… I booked 2 rooms via the hotel website. Reservation for one room was confirmed but the other was shown as pending payment even though my card was charged for 2 rooms. It took numerous emails and IDD calls (at my own expense) to finally get the matter addressed by the hotel. Definitely not a good start…… Read more

Reservation for one room was confirmed but the other was shown as pending payment even though my card was charged for 2 rooms. It took numerous emails and IDD calls (at my own expense) to finally get the matter addressed by the hotel. Definitely not a good start… As Marriott Titanium member, I could have just play safe by choosing a hotel under the Marriott chain, but I decided to try Harbour Grand due to positive experience previously when I stayed there for a conference. Anyway, will update the review on the overall experience with the hotel after my stay in Sep 2024… Read less

Good quality rooms in a beautiful location overlooking Hong Kong Harbour. Good location for sight seeing and within walking distance of Ferry Terminals to Hong Kong Island. Seems to be a popular location for Weddings, Three night stay was perfect for a taster visit to this area, having finished our Cruise from Singapore here.

At the end I asked to speak to the manager, and to my astonishment he said he was the manager. So I asked if he thought it was OK for guests to wait an hour to check in. He said he was sorry but that's just hollow words. They have a queuing system in place so know they have a problem but rather than putting more staff on check in (at least 4 desks empty) they prefer to make their guests wait instead. No help with bags to room and the rest of the staff pretty indifferent for our 5 days with the exception of housekeeping. A hotel that doesn't care about its customers really doesn't deserve our custom . Read less

Our room was on the 28th floor, stunning views & great layout, separate bedroom, loungeroom with fridge, again another hotel lacking in cupboard space, we like to unpack & found they had no draws. Great breakfast with lots of choices, apparently they have one of the best seafood buffet's but we didn't have time to try it. Caught the train to Happy… Read more
