A nice hotel, situated overlooking Victoria Harbour & the old runway from the original airport. The hotel caters for tourism and business travellers. The breakfast was nice and there is something for everyone. It’s about 40-50 minutes walk to Star Ferry and the main shopping area. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly.

Stayed at this hotel on our second leg of a Singapore/Hong Kong holiday. Firstly: STAFF WERE ALL FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL; ESPECIALLY PIERRE WHO PROVIDED INVALUABLE ASSISTANCE AT CONCIERGE. Our room, 1931, was great. Amazing views over the bay. Noticeable drainage smell coming from the bathroom. But the rooms size, comfort and views more than compensated for any smell concerns. Unfortunately, based on personal opinion, this hotel does not make the “5 star” appointed rating due to both (our) breakfasts and Club Lounge experience. The breakfast area set up, choice options and overall standards would be 3 star in terms of tables/chairs quality, food quality and a very compact (& definitely not too private) seating plan. The 19th floor Club Lounge would be best described as an underwhelming attempt at an exclusive “upgrade” option that appears to have missed the exclusive element that should come with the additional expense to access this area. Bashed soft drink cans, limited (& rather disappointing) selection of canapés and a slow response to replenish finished items made this Lounge feel less “Club” and more “Pub”. BUT I REITERATE THAT THE HOTEL STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. It is the aesthetic approach and quality of refinements that let the hotel down. Read less

We had a great time and like our ocean view room. We will go back again. The restaurant at the lobby also looks very good and is very popular (i.e., long lines/queues at times). The ocean view at the lobby is also magnificent. Service has been very good too - no complaint. The only one thing that I could suggest improvement is to provide conditioner in the hotel rooms. Even though the shampoo is supposed to be 2-in-1, it does not serve the purpose of a conditioner. So my hair was bad (rough and somewhat tangled) during those few days. My husband suggested asking for conditioner from the front desk or housekeeping and I should have done so. After departure, I need to spend 1-2 days rescuing my hair with proper conditioning to get it back to normal. I guess the person who made the decision not to offer conditioner in the hotel rooms must be a male or someone with short hair as it’s hard to believe such an important item is not offered in the rooms but this can be easily fixed. Overall, it has been a great experience and we will return to this hotel the next time we are back in HK. Read less

Great location. Great views. Clean spacious room. Within walking distance to the Ferry for the Island and several restaurants. The views from the bedroom were fabulous. No facilities at the pool which is a downside but the views were amazing. Pool area very small
