He took full ownership and control and made sure the rest of our stay was flawless. We also appreciated that GM Mr. Kaul also followed up with us to make sure everything was to the Oberoi standard. These sincere acts and always trying to strive for perfection is what always makes us want to stay at the Oberoi properties world wide. The hotel was just like we remember it from 5 years back. Well maintained, clean, and modern. The staff from restaurant manager Sanket Prabhudessai to our housekeeping staff Bella and Abby all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. One suggestion I would like to make the management is the clarify the tipping policy. At all the Oberoi's I have stayed at there was a posted no tipping policy in the rooms. I did not see that here and I felt like sometimes some of the staff was waiting around for a tip which caused a uncomfortable situation. But that could just be me. Also want to give a special shoutout to Jivyanshi in reservations for helping secure a nice room during a very busy week. Having stayed at the Taj Palace, Four Seasons, St. Regis, and JW Marriott in Mumbai... The Oberoi is by far the best hotel in Mumbai. The service and staff are the best in the business. Excellent modern hotel. We spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a suite upon our arrival. This was very much appreciated. Our room was huge and very modern with large windows looking out over the ocean. You can exit the hotel and take a nice walk long the promenade. Oberoi Hotel is attached with Trident. Prefer staying at Oberoi which is way better. Hotel staff is extremely helpful, Rooms are modern looking, has comfortable beds and all amenities. Oberoi has been consistent in their hospitality. Our stay is always very pleasant and comfortable. Every member of the staff meets you with a smile and a greeting. And they accomodate your special requests with a smile. We love staying at the Oberoi.
