Image of the Tripadvisor rating Very nice hotel and resort -- great for families

Stayed here for ten nights in June 2024. Here's the deal with this place: 1. It is a very nice, very well-kept, but older resort. If you want true luxury, this is probably not it, although the buildings, rooms and grounds are all very nice. 2. It caters to families. Lots of kids and lots for kids to do. 3. Club is worth it -- breakfast is… Read more

Club is worth it -- breakfast is spectacular each day, and evening snacks are very nice. 4. The cultural performance dinner is a great value and great time. 5. The beach is so-so. Discouraging to see trash on a pretty beach like this one...I think it is endemic to this side of the island (there is a landfill/trash facility up the coast). 6. Pools are very nice, but not five star spectacular. If you've been to the grand Hyatt in Kauai, the pools here are not quite on that level. 7. Not a lot to do immediately around the resort. You can spend all day there, or get a driver and go somewhere. Nusa Dua area is kind of sleepy. Overall had a great time. I'd rate it about half a step down from the grand Hyatt kauai (which is our favorite hotel on the planet). Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great resort for young families. Beautiful spa & sports club for those over 16 which was excellent.

Great resort for young families. Wouldn’t recommend for families with children under 10-12. So many young children the pool area was not relaxing. For older children/adults the sports club area and pool was a good send as was the beach. Better service needed at checkin & at the beach. We had a lovely time just don’t feel it’s a 5 star resort .

Big Différence between practice out of the territory of the resort and inside of the resort, dinner for two persons cost more then 100 US $ which is even more than in California 🤷🏻‍♂️
