I have been a regular guest of the Islamabad Marriott Hotel for more than thirty-five (35) years and virtually all my stays have been great. However, my recent stay was particularly outstanding, and I suspect it may be due to the influence of the new General Manager, who seems genuinely dedicated to making the hotel even better than it has always been. The staff at this hotel continue to impress me with their professionalism and friendliness. Aijaz (Duty Manager), Ajmal (Housekeeping), Faizan (Night Manager), Farjad (Front Office), Hina (Nadia Restaurant), Murad (Executive Lounge), Qadeer (Front Office), and Sania (Assistant Front Office Manager), in particular, went out of their way to make my experience truly positive. They are some of the best hospitality professionals I have encountered in the industry. The food remains one of the best features of this hotel. The variety and quality of meals, especially in the Nadia Restaurant buffet and in the Executive Lounge, were exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options, which catered to a wide range of tastes. It was great to see the hotel take tangible steps towards sustainability by replacing plastic bottles with glass for water and eliminating single-use toiletries. Additionally, some of the artwork displayed in the hotel, particularly that by the renowned M. F. Hussain, is impressive and enhances the overall ambiance and atmosphere. I did encounter an issue with my folio during checkout, but it was resolved to my satisfaction in a reasonable amount of time. After thirty-five (35) years of great stays at this hotel, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when in Islamabad. The consistent and singular focus of the entire staff on a positive guest experience sets the hotel apart from others in the city. Read less

When I moved inside my room had to take snap there was so much noise coming I complained several times no action they have taken . After that on my checkout day as I told them I will be checking out around 2 pm they ensured me it's updated it system . But I got called from reception someone with the name Areij called and said your room is in checkout I was so shocked that what the hell is going on I asked her that I requested late checkout but whoever she was ,,, was very rude and said it will be on 50% charges as we are running high occupancy. If you guys can't handle the things why do you commit the whole stay was a bad experience for me . Read less

Very nice location and caring staff to take care of all your requirements. Best breakfast and lounge food. Nice free airport shuttle, sauna, gym and location is perfect. However building is aged requires renovation that’s why two stars are reduced.

Despite road restrictions on moving around the city, we had a very good time due mainly to the hotel (complimentary airport transport) and the wonderful staff here. For instance, Fateh the Asst. Housekeeping Mngr. was extremely helpful and considerate in changing our room when he happened to note that this needed to be fixed. As well, he followed up to ensure we were comfortable during the rest of our stay. Another particularly wonderful experience we had was breakfast at the Nadia restaurant: absolutely outstanding service from Hina (the Restaurant Mgnr), Sadaf (Hostess), awesome attentive and courteous waiters including Shakeel, Wasit, Sami, Shoaib, Amjad, and Aaquib; and the short order cook Junet to name just a few. Superb pastries by Chef Afaq. Also Aaqib at the front desk. Finally, Abid and Umar (Concierge) really made a difference in helping to make local travel arrangements given the road closures and issues in moving around with ease. Thanks are due to all these staff for courteous and memorable service. Read less
