Showers run cold and don’t drain causing water to spill over onto the bathroom floor. Noises from rooms next door meant sleeping was difficult. Lounge food had hair in it and I even found hair in the edge of my coffee cup. Don’t stay here, use the Serena Hotel it is far superior. I wasn’t even able to speak to a supervisor as apparently “everyone was too busy” Peter Tzelepis Read less

Extremely caring staff. Mr Haroon, the front office manager runs a very good hotel. He allowed my family and I to have two renovated rooms on the 4th floor. The pick up and drop off from the airport is also an added plus. We stayed at the hotel as an elite member twice during our time in Islamabad. The lobby restaurant was also excellent in terms of food quality and service, excluding the western deserts. The majority of top tiered restaurants we visited in Pakistan generally don’t have a pastry chef that wowed us during our 2.5 weeks in Pakistan. The tall gentleman that greets guests at the front entrance is a staple of the hotel’s character and service. Read less

Beware breakfast on the weekend was mobbed and hard to get a seat or order anything at the omelette bar without waiting forever. Lovely traditional music 🎵in the lobby. I felt safe at all times. I have been staying at this hotel for years now solely because of the Marriott loyalty program. (There is a much better Hotel Serena). However, the hotel is locally operated and evidently poorly. As a Platinum member, there are no room upgrades. The lounge is sad. Benefits not explained at time of check-in (there are none by the way). 1000 points… Read more

As a Platinum member, there are no room upgrades. The lounge is sad. Benefits not explained at time of check-in (there are none by the way). 1000 points only offered when I asked about it. And late check out entitlement not honoured. Refer to notice. This is the last time I’m staying here. This place does not belong in the Marriott portfolio/ program. Read less
