However, the rooms are very dated. I was allocated room 417. Furniture was very worn and stained. Carpet was rough underfoot, bits of mould around the bath, and the beds, 2 singles, we're very hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioning in the room was noisy.
The food in the buffet restaurant was the same for 4 days in a row. It was the standard Aisan/ Chinese cuisine and was there for both lunch and evening. It's fine for a couple of times, but I'd had enough after a couple of visits. There is a separate menu next to the restaurant check-in, which you have to ask for, but this has a limited choice.
Drinks in the hotel are expensive. There are bars over the bridge 5 minutes walk away. Turn right out of the hotel, and cross next to the petrol station. Go down the steps onto the Riverside. Drinks are a lot cheaper and do fantastic pub food. (Boomerang Aussie sports bar) happy hour 3pm - 7pm

Deluxe twin room was slightly musky smelling and in need of a facelift, but it was clean and comfortable. The pillows were okay if bunched up to thicken and the bed comfortable. The corridor and , in particular, the lift, smelt unpleasant, but the rooms were okay.
All in all, a good value stay.

A huge thank you to Ivan, our salesperson, who was so attentive and responsive from the very beginning. He patiently answered all our questions, accommodated our requests, and ensured the planning process was seamless. His professionalism and warmth put us at ease throughout.
On the day itself, Nick, the banquet manager, and Desmond, the assistant banquet manager, truly made our wedding enjoyable. They worked tirelessly to oversee every detail, from the impeccable setup to ensuring the timeline ran smoothly. Their coordination and expertise were evident in every moment, and we were able to fully enjoy our wedding without any worries.

Very clean and well maintained hotel, location is excellent and the staff is quite polite and straightforward. The prices of their bar and restaurants are actually really fair and less than some surrounding restaurants too. The best part is that the MRT havelock is just 2 mins walk, and clarky quay and Robertson is right across the street. The rooms were actually same as depicted in their pictures. Very satisfied with the price, it’s an old hotel but well maintained. Fresh towels everyday and fresh bedding. We stayed for 3 nights. And it was perfect for our purpose.
