Signature Rooms are newly refurbished, with city or river views, and either 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 people.

Deluxe Rooms are equipped with a private balcony offering city or river view rooms, with either 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Signature Studio Rooms are recently renevated, and are larger in size with a seating area, and 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Family Rooms are equipped with a private balcony offering city or river view rooms, with 1 large double bed and an extra single bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Executive Rooms include access to the Club Lounge which offers complimentary daily buffet breakfast, all-day tea and coffee, soft drinks and snacks, complimentary evening cocktails, and complimentary laundry or pressing service.

Princess Terrace (authentic Penang delicacies, open for lunch and dinner). Tien Court Restaurant (oriental restaurant, open for lunch and dinner). Connections Lounge (open for drinks and light bites, with live sports, regular music and pool table).

Stayed here whilst working. Looks fine from the outside, and the lobby area is very clean and well maintained. Concierge on the right as you walk in. However, the rooms are very dated. I was allocated room 417. Furniture was very worn and stained. Carpet was rough underfoot,bits of mould around the bath, and the beds, 2 singles, we're very hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioning in the room was noisy. The food in the buffet restaurant was the same for 4 days in a row. It was the standard Aisan/ Chinese cuisine and was there for both lunch and evening. It's fine for a couple of times, but I'd had enough after a couple of visits. There is a separate menu next to the restaurant check-in, which you have to ask for, but this has a limited choice. Drinks in the hotel are expensive. There are bars over the bridge 5 minutes walk away. Turn right out of the hotel, and cross next to the petrol station. Go down the steps onto the Riverside. Deluxe twin room was slightly musky smelling and in need of a facelift, but it was clean and comfortable. The pillows were okay if bunched up to thicken and the bed comfortable. The corridor and , in particular, the lift, smelt unpleasant, but the rooms were okay. All in all, a good value stay.

Very satisfied with the price, it’s an old hotel but well maintained. Fresh towels everyday and fresh bedding. We stayed for 3 nights. And it was perfect for our purpose. Read less

Poor room condition. No robe, complimentary mineral bottles not bathroom amenities provided Poor front office service. Never check my booking and ask for payment even club membership and identity provided, Never print receipt upon check out. Never update my points with the club.
