I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Spa Rose for their excellent service. Swati at the front desk and Ali the bellman went above and beyond to help me purchase my medicine, as I was unable to leave the hotel. Their assistance truly made my stay at your hotel a wonderful experience. Additionally, while waiting for my flight, klien receptionist reminded me that I could still use the hotel's facilities, which was a thoughtful gesture that I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be recommending your hotel to all my friends and family, thanks to the amazing service provided by your staff. We had an amazing stay at W Singapore Sentosa Island. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was beautifully designed with stunning views, and the pool area was a tropical paradise. The dining options were fantastic, and I want to give a special mention to Bhavani at the dining area who provided outstanding service. Kids had a great time, enjoying all the family friendly amenities and activities. The hotel's location made exploring Sentosa Island a breeze. went to my friends wedding on 13 july and it was not as appealing as i thought it would be. at the start of the wedding we were at the foyer for our cocktails reception when i saw a big sized, brown in colour person wearing black jacket who i think is the manager of the banquet team called one of the part timers holding the canepe to go to the back of the bar and when the part timer came out from the back the canepe was empty, which was full when she went to the back. secondly, halfway thru out the wedding there was another skinny, tall chinese person who was also wearing the black jacket which i suppose is the manager as well was seen eating the lobster which was from our 3rd course. thru out the event i’ve also heard him saying vulgarities towards the staff when they did something wrong. overall to conclude my dinning experience at W Hotel Sentosa it was just not up to par as they are supposed to be a luxurious 5 star hotel yet the full timers there are behaving worse than the part timers? even ate food that was supposedly for us. Check in: This unfortunately was a nightmare due to the stay not appearing on our marriott app (so we couldnt apply our Suite Night Awards) and the Elite status malfunctioned to show Gold instead of Titanium. So we didnt get our Suite upgrade as we had hoped. The counter staff perhaps is new or is a trainee and had trouble with the tricky check in. Interestingly we were told to come back the next day when we asked for a 4pm checkout (which Platinum and above guests are usually granted). Furthermore, our room was only available at 415-430pm; the 2 complimentary drinks didnt do much to soothe our frustration (pastries or snacks would have kept our children better entertain during the delay). Room: We appreciate the upgrade to the Fabulous room, which was decked in calming and homely wood fittings. We hope that the upcoming room renovations would keep as much wood as possible and avoid the stressful/blinding purple and glass rooms decors that W KL and W Bangkok have. The wood furniture provides a restful and welcoming atmosphere that tempts us to return for another staycay. The hansgrohe shower fittings are so excellent that I tried searching for them online to purchase for our own home. The WC is probably the largest i have ever encountered, which perhaps contributes to the glass door being too close when you are standing in the cubicle. The omission of a bidet was surprising to me, perhaps the majority W Sentosa's guests are foreigners who dont use one? The glass panel separating the bathroom from the room was translucent, so i had to use the toilet in the dark to avoid waking the children up - perhaps a more opaque film could be used on the glass or blinds could we installed during the renovation? The balcony was a lovely space to rest and enjoy the atmosphere. The outdoor furniture had nice and firm cushions to sit on. Facilities: The pool was the most crowded we have ever encountered; the deck chairs were almost all "reserved" with towels and bags placed on them. Thankfully the pools were really large and we could find a small space amidst the chaos and crowd. Location: Sentosa bus B runs in 15min intervals but the journey to the luge was unexpectedly long. We would have rather driven there had we known how long the ride was. On top of the complimentary parking coupons in W, I think staycation-ers would definitely welcome complimentary parking coupons in Sentosa (limit 1 a day?). Service: A big thank to you to the staff members who provided the most amazing and well-stocked birthday surprise for our kids - helium balloons, canned drinks, chocolates, cake, colouring mats! The housekeeping staff were very friendly and greeted us whenever we walked by. The livechat staff were the superheroes to save the day, responding promptly and reversing the rejections of the front desk lady. We got our 4pm late checkout and complimentary drink coupons (W KL/Bangkok usually give these in light that the hotel doesnt have an executive lounge). At check out, I was heartened by manager Jim's sincere apology about the late check in. I hope that you guys can hire more backup to bolster the ranks of your hardworking staff, given the popularity and bursting occupancy rates of the hotel - what a great problem to have! We hope to return again before the renovation, and hopefully this time we will have better with the Suite Night Upgrade! Read less
