The staffs in the hotel are very nice and polite, everyone very serviceminded. Especially Din, always smiling and positive. The rooms are very clean and enough with space.
Breakfast buffet are really nice also, many dishes you can choose.

Starting with the positives. The location is incredible, close to Skytrain (BTS) and metro. The street the hotel is located on has everything you could need or want, and the area is buzzing with activity. The concierge offers a little tuk tuk to the end of the road which is a nice touch. Starting with the positives. The location is incredible, close to Skytrain (BTS) and metro. The street the hotel is located on has everything you could need or want, and the area is buzzing with activity. The concierge offers a little tuk tuk to the end of the road which is a nice touch. The concierge service is good, providing a little map and discount voucher for the Mahonakon building which was appreciated. The breakfast is plentiful, delicious and fast. Whilst busy, staff have a close eye on table availability and we were rapidly seated. The noodle soup stand was great. They did run out of fruit this morning, but that was only once.
The pool area is nice. Plenty of loungers and a good bar. The pool is a good way to chill after sightseeing in the heat but you can’t do laps in it!
Now the areas that need significant improvement- front desk staff were off handish, slow and unhelpful. We received a call in our room at 6.30am to advise the driver for our trip to the river Kwai had arrived. It was a private tour and we just needed 10mins to finish getting ready. When we got to reception and asked where our driver was in response to the call we received the front desk lady said “I didn’t call” which was fine but someone did!! We suggested she asked the others, who were all scratching their heads as if we had lied about the call!! It was infuriating and they were rude to boot.
Our original room 807, was lacking an actual safe. They rapidly moved us which was appreciated.
The room itself is in poor state of decor and repair. The TV didn’t work and kept cutting out. The hair dryer was weak and flimsy. The towels are thin and poor quality and in desperate need of upgrading. The shower is feeble with barely any water pressure. The cupboards are chipped and marked. There is a PowerPoint only on one side of the bed so one person can’t charge their phone overnight.
The lift buttons are temperamental.. Will not be back to this hotel.

Bowky, Benz Lobby Bar was a cozy and comfortable bar where can enjoy cold beer and snack even if horrible hot weather outside. The staff was also very hospitable and pretty.
