We had our wedding renewal vows ceremony at Chaweng Regent Beach. From the moment we first got in touch with Air (wedding Event Manager) about booking our ceremony to the very last day of our holiday there she was amazing. Her attention to detail, her attentiveness to us and to all our guests. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went to plan.We had the most beautiful day. Everything was what we had envisaged and more. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff work extremely hard on keeping it clean and tidy. Always smiling and are genuinely happy to see you. The location of the hotel is perfect when looking for somewhere to eat or shopping. You step outside into the hustle and bustle of Chaweng but once back in the hotel grounds it like you are a million miles away from it all. So tranquil and peaceful. Will definitely be coming back again very soon. Read less

We returned for our second visit to Chaweng Regent after3 nights here in 2009. We arrived having booked 7 nights only to be told the ocean side pool was being renovated. This was a major disappointment for us, as the beach is too shallow to swim out the front and after a long journey, it was not what we wanted to hear. Our memories of Chaweng Regent were different this time as we remember the food being lovely but this time we found it to be lacklustre and lacking flavour. We had a free buffet for the days the pool was out of action but this in no way compensated for the pool as the food was average at best.We only had this once. Great location in Chaweng close enough to main Chaweng but a little further out from the loud music and craziness. We booked the SpaVilla Suite. Clean rooms however they were cleaning them too late in the day but we spoke to reception and this was quickly rectified. I’m not sure we would stay again as we really crave a better beach and food in our hotel for those days when you are laying around by the pool. And the pool being renovated really took, the gloss off our stay. Special shout out to Yao and Pailin from breakfast and Joe and Vee pool side. Your service was a stand out. Read less

First time to Thailand and our experience made us want to move out there! The hotel is in the perfect location for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great; lots of fruit and pastries. Only issue was the coffee machines need updating; they often stop working. The rooms are gorgeous; we loved the outside bath. Only issue was lack of plug socket and usb ports. The beach is good; definitely better further down; the sea is barely deeper than lower thigh level so no swimming. Sun beds are very comfy. We were on the beach by 8 every morning after going to the gym and breakfast and always got sunbeds. Smoothies and iced coffees are delicious. We never had lunch or dinner there as it was quite a lot more expensive than other restaurants but that’s to be expected. The thing that makes this hotel and this place so special is the staff and the Thai people in general. We have travelled all over the world and have never met kinder or more gracious people. I can’t wait to return and see more of this stunning country! Read less

Great breakfast restaurant directly to the sea side. It is a mixed coral beach. Rooms are ok, in datk wood style, but still good. Nice size bathroom with jacuzzi and big shower. First toom was with the very noisy AC compressor in front of the door, we got a new room. If anything to complain, then the aircon, noisy and difficult yo get a good temperature in the room (to cold or too hot) You need to know, Chaweng is directly in the take off zone of the flights … from 7am it can be noisy - but this is not the hotels fault Read less
