The hotel

The gorgeous gardens and pools at Krabi La Playa Resort provide a great getaway, offering up endless hours of relaxation. One of the resort’s swimming pool is pretty traditional, a series of interconnecting pools accompanied by sunbeds, poolside dining, and swim-up bar with the other ‘Emerald Pool’ is something a bit different. Both stretch right up to some of the hotel’s renovated rooms and suites, allowing guests to step right into the water from their terrace. The two acre gardens are just as inviting, with their own bar and seating spots. And, if that’s not quite enough space to relax, you could always head to the sands of Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara beaches, 150 meters away, with shopping, dining and nightlife nearby.

One of the nicest place for stay experienced by us during our travels. We were given a Superior Room was was just too big with an equlayy lavish bathgroom area with a sit out balcony for the morning teas. The breakfast was amazing and the resort is located in walking distance to the beach and shopping street

We really enjoyed staying this hotel, great room with a sunset view, lovely staff and the lady that booked our trips was most helpful. Central location for both local beaches and lots of food and drink options on the doorstep. Would love to visit again but unfortunately we aren’t getting reply’s to our direct emails

This was our 6th time in 13 years to this hotel and is always excellent value. With a good location to reach all the parts of Ao nang and lovely pool, great staff and good choice food. New for us this time was that it's also within walking distance of the Landmark Night Market, which has an amazing choice of food and shopping.

We loved our stay at Krabi La Playa Reort We were treated with utter respect by all of the staff from reception to cleaning to the service in the restaurant where the breakfast had a huge beautiful choice of foods We loved the pool and just felt very relaxed there

We’re halfway through our stay here and having a fabulous time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The Thai massage was wonderful. Breakfast is fresh and delicious and the pools are fab. The location is perfectly tucked away from the main strip too. The gardens are also stunning. Whilst we would absolutely come back and stay here, I’m not sure I’d say it is a 4 star resort. The first night we checked in we walked bare feet around the room and realised we had black feet, the cleaning for us has been a little poor. You can also see some quite unprofessional repairs about the place, whether it’s the thick wobbly sealant and grouting in the bathroom or the expanding foam around the pool. Equally the massage hut was very basic and hot with no spa music or candles etc which is kind of what you expect from a 4* priced ‘Spa treatment’. Overall a wonderful hotel clearly run with great enthusiasm from the team and with a few improvements it could be even better. Read less
