Positive - great location, lovely exterior, pools lovely and lobby nice. Negative - Poor rooms, need an upgrade, loo small if you’re tall you have to sit to the side. Relaxing couples escape

We stayed in a Diamond suite, which was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. From arrival, right through to check out, the staff were welcoming, polite and friendly. We enjoyed the facilities, especially the resort style pools, gymnasium and especially the Diamond Spa for amazing massages. We dined at Oceanview restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which provided a wonderful selection of foods. The resort itself is located on a steep hill with many steps, which was not a problem for us, however, the resort offers a shuttle bus all day and night from the lobby to your accommodation for those requiring it. The location is ideal, being 10 minutes walk to the beach and 20 minutes walk to the shopping precinct. Overall, I would highly recommend Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa when visiting Phuket Read less

Best ever!

Excellent everything, don't miss out! Rooms, staff, location are the best. We had a ball and would come back in a heart beat. Had a massage three times, were amazing and so relaxing. The location is awesome, close to all needs but also quiet and peaceful.

My food-poisoning stay

Well I stayed in 3 hotels during this visit and this one was the only one i did not like We booked 4 days but we only stayed for 2 days and checked out early even with no refund 1) the overall resorts area and location are nice, walking distance from beaches and shops 2) it’s a big resort and gulf carts takes alot of time till they come and fetch u 3) THE ROOM: it was a shock, even the extra bed was on the couch and it wasnt a ( sofa bed ) and we paid for it. The sea view is ok THE ELECTRICITY kept turning off and on all night during our stay even when they sent their guy to fix( who doesnt speak english ) and didnt understand the issue The bathtub and shower; I just dont understand the guy who built it, so small and u have to step a bit high when u get in Mini bar is ok The coffee is not like i expected We booked for 3 adults and they only put one shampoo, conditioner, lotion and the bottles are so small and i hated it, so hard to get the liquid out of it 4) Breakfast: It looked with wide variety of food but we had me & my sister a food poisoning so we couldnt try anything ( just banana and yogurt and honey ) The area is not ACed 5) Dine-in We ordered from their restaurant, and hours later we had a food poisoning, not sure though if from the hotel or some where else But it was hell for us 6) Clinic: They have a clinic which is so good considering what happened to us They sent us to a hospital from there for some fluids and meds with hotel-car and it was complementary And it was a bit expensive around 10000 bhat During our check-out we told them about our experience and they gave us 80% discount off the dine-in orders Rest of facilities i didnt try as I was sick in my room during the 2 days i spent there It’s more like a 4 star hotel, not 5 Read less

Me and my family stayed in Diamond cliff resort and spa for 6 nights in June 2024, it was quite a nice experience as it was our first trip to phuket, everything was great,the stuff were very kind and helpful, the only problem during my stay was the time of free shuttle service to patong beach which was from 2pm to 4pm at that time it was absolutely hot to go out ,it's better to change the time of this service.
