The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

Embarrassment to Hilton… Room 1622

This was definitely not “Hilton” quality! My family has always stayed in Hiltons because of the cleanliness, rooms and amenities. This was definitely not “Hilton” quality! My family has always stayed in Hiltons because of the cleanliness, rooms and amenities. My dad is a diamond member and when I told him about this room he told me to go to the front desk. They did absolutely NOTHING… my room smelled like a dog kennel especially by the vanity sink and it was nauseating. My daughter was there for a competition as were 100’s of others. It took us an hour and a half to get on one of the ONLY 2 elevators that were working and we had to continuously hold the button down to call the elevator. We were on the 16th floor and 10 different times it opened and was full because people would ride up so they wouldn’t have to wait any longer. This was completely ridiculous as they knew the competition was coming well in advance and it is held there every year. Hopefully not next year! My daughter missed practice due to the wait on the elevator (she was carrying a heavy backpack) so didn’t hick the 16 flights of stairs. Nor should she have had too!!! My car got returned to the parking garage twice from valet due to the long wait at the elevators. After all of that, it would have been nice if we could have just went back to a decent room but the smell and the holes in the curtains created a very restless stay. I tried to cancel my other 2 nights and was told it was non refundable. Shameful…NEVER AGAIN. Hilton should take there name from this place.

I have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years for business and pleasure. The hotel really needs some TLC! Staff are great but rooms need updating and elevators must be repaired!! We were there this past weekend for a dance competition so we expected lines at the elevators but North tower had an elevator down and they said South had 3 down. I spoke with a wonderful staff member that said even the staff elevators weren’t working. I heard several people say they climbed 11 flights of stairs and beat someone waiting on an elevator!
Please give this hotel the attention it deserves, we love traveling here.

Perfect experience at hotel restaurant Don Rico’s. My waitress Judith was simply amazing and the food was delicious. I’m a new fan!! The shrimp tacos were delicious and so was the calamari. Everything came out fast and tasty. I really enjoyed my meal! Great job chef and team!

Rum Room Service 10/10

I was in town for a solo beach getaway. I visited the rum room and had Sara as my bartender. She was awesome! Extremely friendly, helpful and made a good drink. 10/10. Will go back again for her service when I visit next. The vibe was nice overall.
