This resort has some breathtaking views. I stayed for 1 N as I was passing by Fort Lauderdale. Staff members were attentive and willing to help whenever I had questions/ concerns. This hotel is definitely not a 4 or 5 star resort anymore. It has gone down significantly. Pool furniture, cleanliness and overall needs a refresh. Way too many people in the pool with day passes being sold. Overall not a good experience. Food is the only positive.

The hotel is good, but for me, there were a few things lacking that would make it great. Location-wise, it's in a great spot, right opposite the beach. The room was a one bed suite and whilst the room was nice, it was tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment. We were allocated the room very late on our arrival day - after 4.30pm - which was frustrating. The hotel gave a small credit for the inconvenience, but having it ready would have been the better option. I didn't feel like being a Diamond Member really made any difference to the experience received, there's no lounge as such, so aside aside from a small daily credit (which gets lost versus the fees and charges) there was nothing else. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed spending time by the pool. There is a great Italian, Vitolo's, where we ate on the Saturday evening. The food was great. I'd consider other options before returning back I think. Read less

We booked this to celebrate our 24th anniversary and we were excited for the stay. The first night was not good. We had neighbors parting all night and smoking on the balcony. One of the reasons we like this resort is the patio in each suite. It was hard to enjoy with all the smoking. After getting little to no sleep we asked to change rooms. They said we can pack up our stuff and they will move. We went to get our keys and were surprised to see someone’s stuff all over the room we had just been moved to. We left immediately because we didn’t want someone to come in while we are in their room mistakenly. The manager switched us again but accepted no responsibility. We called to get a late check out and were told we could have noon. We are diamond and this is unusual, but fine. We also asked if they could get us in for dinner at Takato (our favorite) and we were just told to call the concierge. This used to be a wonderful hotel with excellent customer service. Just bummed as this all but ruined our anniversary weekend. Maybe they could have offered an upgrade for our trouble or at least helped us with a dinner reservation? On a positive note, bellman was friendly and apologetic but it wasn’t his fault. Read less
