Stayed here 4 nights while attending a business conference. The property is beautifully located right on the beach, and the resort package fee typically includes some of the amenities like group fitness classes, use of beach chairs, an hour's use of non-motorized beach sports equipment, and tennis court and bike rental. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially when I needed extra towels. My room was a standard king, with a balcony overlooking the large patio and beach. It appears to have been renovated relatively recently, and everything was clean and shiny. I did use room service on this visit and the service was prompt and food arrived hot. The onsite restaurants are good--the smoothie shop on the beach level is great for a quick non-coffee breakfast or even a light salad/sandwich lunch. Gymn is oddly shaped, but functional. Plenty of cardio equipment if you decide not to make use of the beach or boardwalk. Ample weight machines, and a few free weights as well. If you want room to yoga or pilates, you'll need to use the studio, since there's not a lot of space to spread out a mat anywhere else in the gym. This is a good choice for a Fort Lauderdale stay and I'll be back. Read less
