We love this place and they recently updated it so it’s even better. The beach is private so you have the same sand and water as Pier 60, but no crowd. Our favorite time is to grab coffee at the gift shop in the morning and go stand in the water and drink it. The staff is friendly and will take you to the beach via golf cart if you prefer not to walk. The pool area is also well maintained and offers a hot tub, kiddie pool, cafe, and bar. There are plenty of chairs and a pool attendant. The restaurants are great. They will also cook your fresh caught fish for you and Chef Don did a fantastic job. We also had great service from Fabian and he introduced us to a squid dish that was fantastic. The Sheraton on Sand Key is in a great location just across the bridge from the Clearwater tourist area, but you can also walk down the street to a strip mall with a lot of restaurants and shops. We’ve stayed here twice and plan to return many times. Read less

All concerns were eased when I received an email from the hotel manager three or so days prior to arrival stating what to expect which, to me, was unbelievable attention to the needs and wants of the guests. Excellent. The restaurant on site provided a wide ranged menu for dinner and the breakfast buffet at another restaurant was wonderful. Spent time poolside and the pool is well maintained. I look forward to my next visit. Read less

Restaurant food and service was GREAT! I want to give a special shout out to the front desk supervisor Laurie! She took the time to look at our vacation package to find out the parking was included. She was so helpful for other little things too. Again, do not worry about this place if you are reading the bad reviews. I can’t for life of me understand what these people are talking about! We had an AMAZING stay here! Thank you Sheraton and thank you Laurie! Read less

The overall stay was good but a few things are missing. 1) not enough umbrellas at the pool, there is very little shade. The pool is also small and very crowded with kids. Adult only time most definitely needed. No lifeguard present and people were smoking in the pool. 2) The gym was closed on arrival which was not made clear when booking. 3) The… Read more

The balcony is a lovely touch. 4) The lobby is extremely outdated and the smell from the restaurant hits you straight away which is unpleasant. 5) The WiFi drops in and out constantly throughout the hotel.
