The hotel

With just 89 rooms this is a beautifully intimate hotel, but it still gives you a host of room types to choose from, a range of activities to enjoy, and each access to both the centre of Sarasota and beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. So basically, you can have a bit of everything - no matter what you're after! Set in the arts district, you'll find the hotel a bit of an urban oasis. Set in the artsy Rosemary Arts & Design District of downtown Sarasota,  less than a mile from Highway 41 and a mile from both Bayfront Park and Marina, and the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Lido Beach is less than 10 minutes away.

Standard Rooms with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Deluxe Poolside Rooms feature a private patio, 1 king-size bed, and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Loft Rooms feature a private poolside patio, seating area, 1 queen-size bed, and an additional mezzanine level with another queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Wink Wink Modern Lounge (global cuisine for all day dining and drinks). Wink Wink Modern Pool Bar (with indoor and outdoor dining, offering light bites and beverages throughout the day).

This is motel at best. Not a modern or well appointed hotel or lobby. Service was terrible. Had constant power failures for the entire stay. Slept in a 90 degree room. What ever price you agree and pay for. Expect the ticky tack add on charges. Resort fee added per day Resort ? You must be kidding. Manager has still not responded to a call… Read more

The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodated my early check in. They invited me to a pool party that night and warned that it might be noisy. However, my room (#422) was on the corner away from the pool, and I didn't hear a thing. It was next to the elevator, but I heard no noise from that or from guests in the hallway. I enjoyed the mid 20th century accents of the hotel decor. On my second morning I discovered that there was only decaf and tea in the coffee maker selection, but after a call to the front desk, regular coffee pods were quickly delivered to my room. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, as was the bedroom, but I wish I could have made the shower a bit hotter. Read less

Very clean hotel. Courteous and professional staff throughout. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. Concierge Kathy was always on hand to assist. Bartender Bryce went above and beyond with his service! He is a true gem! We will definitely be back!

The staff was AMAZING!!! Jackie and Brittney were so professional!!! They made our trip very memorable!! The accommodations were top tier!! We will definitely be back! The wine in the room was a nice surprise! Love the nostalgia of the entire hotel!
