The hotel

W South Beach Hotel enjoys an ocean frontage the length of a football field! There's also The Living Room where you are surrounded by art including original works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, George Condo and Kenny Scharfand, and can enjoy your cocktail to the sound of a live DJ spinning beats.

Splendid Studio Suites are located on the 3rd floor, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Wonderful Studio Suites are located on the 4th and 5th floors, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Spectacular Studio Suites are located on floors 9-19, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Two Queen Studio Suites are available on a range of floors, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Fabulous Studio Suites feature an outdoor day bed on the oversized balcony with oceanfront views, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Fantastic Suites feature a separate living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Oasis Suites feature a media room with sofa bed, separate living room with full kitchen and washer/dryer, bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, additional powder room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Mega Suites are located on the 6th floor and are bi-level suites featuring a private outdoor plunge pool, rooftop terrace, outdoor rain shower, separate lounge and kitchenette, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Marvelous Suites are oceanfront corner suites with separate living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, full bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Sanctuary Suites are located on floors 7 and above, with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and separate living room with kitchenette, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

Cool Corner Suites are two bedroom oceanfront corner suites, with separate living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, full bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, and wraparound balcony, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

Sensational Suites feature multiple balconies, media room with sofa bed, full bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, separate living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, and 2 bedrooms each with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Poolside Bungalow Rooms are tri-level apartments overlooking the WET Deck and the Grove, featuring a rooftop terrace with plunge pool and outdoor shower, enclosed garden, living room and kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

WOW Oceanfront Suites feature a spacious living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, wraparound balcony, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms, sleeping maximum 5 adults. 

Mr Chow (Beijing cuisine; dinner only). The Restaurant at W South Beach (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; serving American classics with an Italian twist). WET® Bar and Grille (poolside lounge and bar serving signature cocktails and bites throughout the day). Living Room Bar (lobby bar). Irma's (outdoor tiki-inspired bar, featuring live music, cocktails, and light bites).

Nothing short of spectacular! We were staying at another hotel nearby and well…it was necessary to move. I walked into the W South Beach to just explore and consider moving to the W. The decision was a no brainer. We were greet by Ambassador Hal Demir. He showed us the impressive property and then showed us the room we had been eyeing online. Hal is a superstar of guest service. Giving us advice on many aspects/restaurants in the area. He then introduced us to Front Desk Director Rachael. Yet another superstar. We booked the room to check in the following day. We were upgraded (without asking) to the most incredible 1 bedroom/full living room & kitchen suite with a wrap around terrace with stunning views. Rachael and Hal always has a smile and a kind word for us. This was true throughout the property. Lucas at the hotel bar is another standout in hospitality, charisma and charm. Carolina at the breakfast restaurant (which is delicious) is superb. Also, the online photos of the pool and overall property do not do justice to this extraordinary hotel in a great location. Want the best in Miami? W South Beach is the place. From the location to the service this is a first class place. Been to most of the Marriott Properties as a titanium member and this one exceeds my expectations and standards. And the view from your room? Breathtaking! My compliments to the management.

The best pool experience in Miami. Staff (Ana, Tim, Luis, Tyler) were all very attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were amazing as well. Crowd is a mix of all ages , music was good, Definitely recommend this hotel but especially poolside is a vibe

Accommodating all my requests with a smile and pleasantries. Next the room was immaculately beautiful and clean. Room service and house keeping service were fast and efficient. The food from the restaurant inside was good and the wait staff was excellent. The pool bar drinks were the best and Jose and Gilbert and the ladies out there are the best in the business! The management staff there at the bar area was so personable and fun. Thanks Amos for your attention and kindness. I don’t have any negetive things to say about this “W-SB”!
