The hotel

Not only does CoCo Key offer great family rooms with plenty of space in the heart of Orlando, it boasts it's own water park too — one of the best in the area! With 14 slides, three heated pools and a state-of-the-art gaming arcade, kids of all ages can play to their hearts content all day, every day. You're also just a hop and a skip away from a myriad of Orlando attractions (including the theme parks), so there's never a dull moment! And although restaurants abound (you can walk to over 50 restaurants and shops), The Tradewinds Restaurant on-site is a great place to dine, feasting on deep south favourites, followed by amazing dessert selections. A daily entertainment program means the kids will be making friends in no time, including movies screened by the pool and interesting activities that are hosted by the hotel staff. Look for the hotel mascot CoCo in the morning and afternoon for photo opportunities.

391 rooms. All with air-conditioning, 37" flat-screen TV, telephone, WiFi (included in the resort fee), mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, hairdryer, iron and board. Standard Rooms with 1 king-size bed and queen-size sleeper sofa or 2 double/queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We really enjoyed the hot breakfast. It was nice to start out day without having to find a restaurant. Each time as we came to the hotel or left we saw Michael. He was interesting and was most helpful. He was attentive and thoughtful. In this day and age of ever present computer screens it was so refreshing to talk to a real person. We had a housekeeper that was exceptional. Her name was Debbie. There was another housekeeper on the 5th floor that impressed us but I don't remember her name. The location was great because you don't need a car to stay there. So many great museums and activities were within walking distance. They need to change information on the websites. Our reservation confirmation stated that checkout time was 12 but it is 11. Also there is no business center. Read less

We arrived quite late at CoCo Keys after a long flight, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us a map explained where our room was and a quick run down on the facilities. We were put in block 6 which was a good size room for a family. The beds were very comfortable with nice comfy pillows and a quiet air con unit. If we needed anything the receptionist actioned it straight away, our coffee machine was not working a new one was delivered to our room in less than 20 mins, house keeping was daily. My son wanted to sleep on the sofa bed, new bedding for it was delivered in less than 30 mins. The grounds were kept well and we had an overall nice stay. We did not use the pool or waterpark, do I can't comment on those, but they looked good. We did use the laundry facilities which was great as it was card payment. All of our resort fees were waived with Virgin, which was good as that would of added quite a lot more on. The only negative thing is that the Aircon unit needed cleaning which made the room smell a bit musty and damp, even though it was not damp! Don't be put off by bad reviews. It's not a high end hotel so don't expect it, but for a lower end hotel/motel it was very good. We would definitely be happy to stay there again. Steven the valet took his time to make sure I was all good with my bags I was struggling with. He also gave me very good local information to help me find was my family was looking for. Very helpful and friendly guy. Would definitely recommend.!

Fabianni at the resort’s Starbucks is great! She’s very friendly and was kind to us as we were unsure about what to buy. It was our first time buying anything from Starbucks and we took a little time deciding. She helped us out by explaining our options and we were not disappointed. Thank you!
