The hotel

This hotel really goes out of its way to keep you and the kids amused with lively karaoke nights in the Zebras Sports Bar and Grille, last food orders are taken at 11 pm, plus there is a late-night deli, which is handy for night owls. This is a big hotel with 3 swimming pools and a family restaurant with an excellent kids eat free programme, guaranteed to help your budget no end. Opposite is the Pointe Orlando shopping area with some cool clothes shops and 21 cinema screens. The I-RIDE trolley is a convenient way to see International Drive's attractions — even better, there is a trolley stop right outside the hotel.

Really weird moment. Stayed in this hotel in 1989 with my parents. I was 10yrs old, & I was taken to Disney and all the other stuff. I only mention this as I returned 30yrs later with my own 10yr old son. Other than the decor, the hotel hasn't changed. The food is cheap but very basic but to be fair, we only had breakfast. The hotel can organise trips to Disney world, however these are expensive and the scheduled bus never turned up on a number of occasions. This ment waiting round for hours, or paying for allergies travel. With regards to Sea World, Universal, I-drive and all other attractions, the hotel is ideally located with the nearest I-trolley stop just outside. Various shops are within a 5mins walk. Although not the worst hotel in the world, I would look for another one to stay in if I went again. Read less

Got a bargain with Virgin for the price paid it was ok Rooms dated and grubby but bedding and towels were clean Damp smell in room Pool cloudy and over chlorinated dried out our skin so only used once Clientele a bit ropey Laundry room was dirty half the washers and dryers were broken Location ok Only really slept there so did the job

Just back from another great stay at (imo) Orlando’s best value hotel. We requested 2 rooms in the middle of the top floor of Block D facing International Drive and received almost exactly that. I think we were a room or two along from exactly half way but it was perfect anyway so thanks again to the guys at the hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Ample parking around the hotel. Rooms are still a bit bland and could do with a freshen up but the beds are super comfy. Fridge, microwave and free safe in the room. Toiletries topped up daily, cleaners did a great job every day too. Zebra’s bar still does one of the best cheeseburgers anywhere. Be careful with the vodka though, they are really strong. Karaoke on Mondays and Thursdays is fun and the bar staff are great. We had the buffet breakfast once, $13.95 pp, and it was pretty good, lots of choice. We will definitely be back. Thanks again. Our room was in block A, pool side but towards the I4 end. You could hear the freeway but it didn’t bother us. Due to the position of our room it was quite dark but there’s good lighting in the room. The room its self is a good size with 2 queen beds. The room was cleaned with fresh towels daily. There’s also excellent storage. The breakfast was excellent and did vary most days. We ate at various different times and never had an issue getting a table. All of the staff at breakfast were very friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Right across the road from Pointe Orlando and a 10min walk from Icon Park. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back. Read less
