The hotel

The Rosen Inn is just a mile from Universal Orlando Resort™, perfectly located for fans of thrill rides like the Incredible Hulk Coaster® and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™. If you are a non-driver, the hotel operates an excellent complimentary scheduled shuttle service to select theme parks. The Palms Dining Room provides a great value breakfast buffet for families, Shogun Japanese steakhouse serves delicious cuisine and Sakura Sushi Bar featuring freshly-prepared sushi rolls, nigari and sashimi served in an intimate setting. For an early evening reviver, The International Pub is on hand with a suitably global array of cocktails and American cuisine. Nearby attractions include the I Drive 360, Madame Tussauds wax museum, and Pirates Adventure Dinner Show — an experience well worth checking out.

Hotel information

315 rooms on 9 floors in 2 buildings with 4 lifts. All with TV, coffee-making facilities, mini-fridge, microwave, safe, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 adults or 2 adults and 3 children (5th adult on a rollaway bed*).

  • Breakfast Bonus - Two buffet breakfast for up to a max of 2 adults per room per stay (minimum 7 consecutive nights). Kids Eat Free - Kids 5 years & under eat free breakfast when accompanied by a paying adult (ie. one kids meal per one paying adult, two kids meals per two paying adults) Park Shuttles - Complimentary shuttles to Universal. Terms & conditions apply. Stayed here for 2 weeks and the hotel was good for what I needed it for. Needed a place to lay my head after a long day around the parks and to freshen up before going for a meal in the evening. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most beautiful friendly girls on reception we arrived late and we had requested a room with a volcano view and this is what we got and more . ROOM 920 on the top floor amazing views of orlando . We absolutely loved our stay rooms were cleaned every day absolutely immaculate, the most comfy bed I ever slept in , it's not the busiest of the rosens and this suited us perfectly plenty of quiet time in the evening by the pool. We availed of the shuttle multiple times which is handy and the hotel is close to all the amenities on Idrive with a bus stop right outside the doors. Only problem we had was pool was closed for a couple of days due to technical issues but we just found other things to do. We were hoping to travel back on 2026 but honestly can't wait that long so hoping to be back next summer ... Read less

Love this hotel, second time visiting and did not disappoint! Perfect location and very well priced. Bed is very comfy and AC is good. Felt very safe in this hotel with security guards at the front gate. Will be returning to this hotel on my next Orlando trip.

Staff are lovely and will do anything for you hotel is in a good area near universal 25/30 minute walk Also in walking distance for bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel we stayed there from the 6/6-20/6 , we had 2 rooms on the 8 floor in the main building. We had breakfast each morning in the palms restaurant which is buffet style. The pool was lovely to chill and cool off Towels are supplied. We used Uber to get to Disney and Florida mall and boggy creek. Definitely recommend it Read less

Quick Review: Good Overall We booked in for 10 days for our family holiday (1 teen and 2 adults). Using google maps brought us right to the front where we were greeted by the security guard. They change daily, we saw 3 different ones, and they were all lovely. There is a lot of parking :) "Check In" for us was 3pm (flew from UK). Was easy and the desk staff were great. They answered all my questions and told us about the free shuttle to universal. Room was spacious and clean. Has a small fridge, microwave, safe, big TV and desk. Also has an alarm clock that has USB ports for charging so didnt need our plug in chargers. You do need to keep in mind that this is a budget hotel so the quality of the furniture and general decoration wont be amazing but it was plenty for us. The cleaners did clean daily, however its a basic clean so no fancy towel work etc. There is a pool, onsite shop and restaurant. We did visit the shop for some sweets, it was nice but expensive ($10 for a small packet :0). You kind of expect higher prices as its a holiday destination but I would stick to Walmart or Target. They are 15 mins away by car. We didnt visit the pool or restaurant as we had a packed schedule but did look nice. Check out was 11am and very easy. You just drop your room keys in the box on your way out. Didnt get any weird charges after and I would defiantly stay here again. Props to the staff :) Read less
