Location of this hotel is great. I would say it is in the more upscale end of Idrive (opposite The Pointe) away from the 1.99 t shirt stores. But an I trolley stop right outside the hotel - so minutes away from the action. Plenty of nice places to eat at The Pointe as well. Rooms were clean, fairly modern, and housekeeping was good. But an I trolley stop right outside the hotel - so minutes away from the action. Plenty of nice places to eat at The Pointe as well. Rooms were clean, fairly modern, and housekeeping was good. Pool area was nice , pool was warm, well kept, and plenty of towels. CVS next door which was very handy. Staff all friendly. My only criticism was that the hotel held an event that I wouldn't call family friendly. Lots of young people dressed in close to bondage gear and smoking funny stuff outside the front of the hotel. Perhaps the hotel didn't know who they were booking. Great location - would stay again. Read less

Stayed at this hotel before, but this time it was a big disappointment. Room was tiny and the two of us were colliding constantly. There was no suitable furniture for putting luggage on, so living out of suitcase, or even unpacking/packing, was impossible. There was no suitable furniture for putting luggage on, so living out of suitcase, or even unpacking/packing, was impossible. The refrigerator in our room didn't work, so we called for help and the young man argued with us about whether the fridge was working or not. (It wasn't cold.) Parking was $22 a day for regular or $28 a day for valet, both a rip-off. Never again! Read less

The hotel is awesome with very friendly staff. The rooms were updated and everything looked very upscale with high end decor. The room had microwave, Keurig, Refrigerator, mini kitchen and a Safe. The Parking lot was huge and yet almost full. It took me couple minutes to find a spot but over all I would definitely stay here next time I am in Orlando. I have stayed in Marriott, Westin, and Disney hotels in the past but this one surpasses all of them. I would very highly recommend this hotel. Read less

We stayed at the Rosen Plaza for 10 nights from 2 September 2024. We had a room on the 7th floor (right at the end of the corrider, can't remember the number!). Spotlessly clean and the beds (we had the two large single beds) were fabulously comfy (best sleep in a hotel ever!) Cannot fault the Rosen Plaza - for the price, the location (right… Read more

Cannot fault the Rosen Plaza - for the price, the location (right opposite The Pointe and right next door to CVS, which sells everything and open 24/7). The pizzas in the hotel were extremely good value and very tasty. Cannot fault this hotel and will be back for sure when we're next in Orlando. Read less

You had to go through the booking process to know about it - put in reservation dates, select a room, look at the rate terms and then EXPAND the rate terms. If they were being honest, they would disclose it on the website, not just in the fine print of the rate terms. Fitness Center charges $15/day. This also was not disclosed. I went to check out the Fitness Center and was told that I needed a room key to access. I tried to use the rom key and it didn't work. Only then was I told of the $15/day fee. It was not disclosed on the web site; nor was it signed near the fitness center. I have a tolerance for DISCLOSED fees, but don't like surprises. Read less
